One of my favorite viewing experiences in 2016 was watching The Barn, Justin M. Seaman's must-watch midnight movie that pays homage to ’80s slashers while introducing a lineup of killer new creatures to haunt your screen on Halloween night. Another day, another leaked image of Assassin's Creed Origins.  This time, we get an actual release date.  Find out more after the jump.

Ubisoft's higher-ups can't be happy this week.  On the precipice of gaming's biggest week of the year, yet another leak has surfaced for the next game of their flagship series, Assassin's Creed: Origins.  Early in the week, Target was to blame for the first leak.  Today, GameInformer has those honors as an upcoming edition of the gaming magazine found its way onto Reddit and then Imgur.

The images are, of course, grainy but what we can tell from this image is our hero standing on top of the Great Sphinx of Giza looking out at its Hawk friend with the Great Pyramids in the distance.  Next to the Sphinx reads Assassin's Creed: Origins with a faded tagline that reads, "As an Empire Falls, A Brotherhood Rises."

The live-action adaptation of the popular anime series, Ghost in the Shell, is making its way to blu-ray later this Summer. Paramount has announced the home entertainment release date, as well as all the bonus features you can expect to come with it.

If you've been waiting to check out Ghost in the Shell at home, you'll get your chance in a couple months. Today Paramount announced the live-action movie will be coming to Blu-Ray/DVD/4K on July 25, 2017, but you'll be able to watch it on July 7th via digital download.
