The "fear and loathing" trip was actually from Dallas to Seattle. The journey took 10 days, with a 3 day lay over in Sheridan Wyoming, due to a timing chain mishap. The real "party scene" happened outside of Sheridan.
The real Momma Kitty (who couldn't stand being in a car) fled, after being let out in Seattle. She never returned after the 10 day trip from Dallas.
