This is the most incoherent suspense movie I've ever seen. Veronicammartin's comment, "It is the rude, unhelpful police who 'steal the day'" is spot on.
But I'm afraid she's naive when she says, "I would have put a complaint in against them for telling me to find them evidence and not following leads, I'd have said that's your job." Years ago a tow truck smashed my car while it was parked. Witnesses identified the towing company. My insurance company required the tow truck's registration or they'd charge me the deductible, so I went to the towing company offices. When I asked for the information, the owner pulled a gun on me. I went straight to the nearest police station, but they refused to go back to the towing company with me. They insisted that I had to give them the name of the guy who pulled the gun on me or they wouldn't write up a report. When I asked them how they expected me to get the guy's name, they suggested I go back and ask him! Let's hear it for Boston's "finest".

If you don't have high expectations, this is ok movie. Cast is fine, acting is ok, but the plot is just lame. There are lots of things that are never explained, seems like it was just finished in the rush. It feels like a final scene where everything gets explained is missing. There are not even title cards at the end to explain at least something that was going on. It's not unwatchable, it's ok if you want to kill some time because it holds your attention, but, as I said, don't expect too much.
I think there should be a zero which would mark 'the average' and then up to ten points for ' below the average' They feed us with films that offend our intelligence and sense of art and we are forced to give those films positive points when ,for example, I die inside. Haylle Duff is horrible, but maybe less horrible than Danica McKeller whose voice hurts my ears.
Watch this if you want to see a cuddly-wuddly Teddy Bear like Ty Olsson wear suits (and even a tuxedo) for a good part of the movie. Ignore Haylie Duff and the sister-in-law with the thing on her chin and the clumsy aunt and the gardener guy and the dumb detectives and the painted wall and the off-brand operating system on the laptops and the teaching subplot and the drape-less house in the wrong neighborhood and the wedding photo shoot on the lake in the dead of autumn and the cheap vase and Mrs. Thick and nearly every else about this movie. Focus on the adorableness that is the male lead as he is the only interesting part of this snorefest.
My confusion is the beautiful house on the lake in the forest keeps getting shown over and over again and it can't possibly be their house because they live in a suburb? I don't understand how anybody can't notice this obvious error?
Other than this flaw, it's really not bad for a Lifetime movie. I hate Lifetime movies (except ones from the 90's).. They're so predictable and the endings are always the same. This one actually had me curious as to what was going to happen, and I like the flashes of her taking her meds and showing the days things are happening.
All in all I think its worth watching, and I hope this is the start of Lifetime improving their usual bland vanilla movies.
