Viewers on X commented that the animation doesn’t look anything like the other Mappa anime but that might be the charm of it. Netflix recently announced that Maboroshi (Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou) will arrive on the streaming platform on January 15, 2024, releasing a trailer with English subtitles. The upload confused fans and sent many into a panic as they believed Mappa finally had news about Yuri!!! on Ice's movie Ice Adolescence, only to find out it was simply an upload of "History Maker." However, the Bilusaludo were unable to activate Mechagodzilla, which forced the aliens and humanity to abandon Earth and emigrate to Tau Ceti e.
