For more than three decades, the Sailor Moonfranchise has captivated audiences with its stellar cast of Pretty Guardians and their spectacularly bright, shining adventures. In that time, fans watched as the Sailor Scouts fought against the forces of Evil on Earth, among the stars and even across time itself on more than one occasion.
Unsurprisingly, this has led to more than a few Sailor Moon storylines that haven't aged particularly well, not to mention those that were questionable from the very start. Several of the franchise's most indelible tales are prime examples of ideas they could have executed better with a little more forethought. Whether it be unsettling relationships, uncharacteristically cruel heroes or unexpected dinosaur friends, some Sailor Moon stories simply don't stand up to the rest of the franchise, even at its blandest.

God of War fans are convinced that not everyone is cut out to follow the Spartan teachings. Kratos became the god he is today because his journey was forged in fire and had the advantage of his heritage to help him endure all the hardships it may not do the same for his son.
Kratos was given a second chance of being a father and did his best to keep his past life away from Atreus. Being part giant and demigod can be a curse as Atreus sets out to navigate his life away from his father’s shadow.
Atreus Is Not Cut Out for the Same Path the God of War Has Taken
Santa Monica Studio took a gamble introducing Atreus as a buddy throughout the Norse Saga and gave Kratos a second chance. Not knowing the truth of his godhood, Atreus did everything to gain the approval of...

The God of War franchise has been around for the past few years and has undergone significant changes and overhauls in visuals and gameplay mechanics. The gaming community has been begging for a remake of the original trilogy and the chances are higher than ever.
Remakes and remasters have been a part of Sony’s campaign to preserve older titles but this has been a long time coming. Fans are convinced that all the work the developers put into recreating older assets and models into the Valhalla Dlc is a dead end and could be a hint of something bigger.
One God of War: Ragnarok Cameo Could Be a Sign of a Full Remake of Older Games
Santa Monica Studios caught the entire gaming community off guard with the reveal of the Valhalla Dlc during last year’s The Game Awards. No one saw it coming and it was the...

Jacky Cheung has been absent from the silver screen for a while now, with his last leading role coming in 2016 with “Heaven in the Dark” and his last action film coming a year before that with “Helios”. On the other hand, if there's one thing the late, great Benny Chan's swansong “Raging Fire” did, it rekindled Nicholas Tse's interest in action films. Both Cheung and Tse are back with action and will be seen in Herman Yau's upcoming “Customs Frontline”.
Plot details are still under wraps but the trailer promises an exciting narrative revolving around illegal arms smuggling that promises fists, guns and lots of explosives.
The stacked star-cast also includes Francis Ng, Karena Lam and Cya Liu. No official release date has been announced yet but it can be expected to release in the 2nd half of 2023.

Jon Favreau’s “The Mandalorian” returned for Season 2 on Disney+, boasting new and improved virtual production innovations, while introducing creatures such as the menacing Krayt Dragon and ice spiders. The tech highlight, though, was the launch of StageCraft 2.0, the virtual production game changer from Industrial Light & Magic. Offering a new in-house render engine called Helios, the immersive LED wall digital backlot at Manhattan Beach Studios in L.A. generated cooler-looking digital environments in real-time, and continued the illusion of being on location with interactive lighting and perspective-accurate camera tracking.
“Helios gave us higher resolution and more image fidelity,” said Ilm VFX supervisor Richard Bluff. “The assets that were going into the environments could not only be rendered in real-time on the wall, but could also be easily rendered in any one of our render engines that we use in post-production. This allowed a lot of flexibility on the back end.

MoviePass, the long-struggling theater subscription service, finally appears to be down for the count.
On Friday, MoviePass notified remaining subscribers that it would be shutting down the service effective Sept. 14, 2019, because “its efforts to recapitalize MoviePass have not been successful to date,” parent company Helios and Matheson Analytics announced.
“The company is continuing its efforts to seek financing to fund its operations,” the statement said. But, it added, “The company is unable to predict if or when the MoviePass service will continue.” MoviePass told subscribers it will issue refunds for any periods of service they had already paid for.
In addition, Helios and Matheson said its board has commenced a review of strategic and financial options, including a potential sale of the New York-based company in its entirety or a business reorganization.
Even with MoviePass’ evident demise, the service has spurred theater chains including AMC Theatres, Regal Entertainment and Cinemark...

Travelers season 3 brought the story of future operatives trying to avoid a cataclysm to an unexpected conclusion — what does it all mean?
Warning: This article contains major spoilers for the entirety of Travelers season 3!
Travelers season 3 played a dangerous game in its finale by introducing a reset that could either pay off with an innovative re-imagining of the journey to the “Twenty-First” or alienate viewers by undoing all of the relationships, consequences, and tragic deaths of the past few years. But perhaps a reset was necessary. Glimmers of doubt had already begun to appear as consciousnesses continued to be sent from the dark future; could there be any hope that the Director would ever succeed in its mission to avoid humanity’s extinction?
Whether you agree with the choice that the writers or the characters themselves made, there are plenty of questions surrounding what really happened in...
