Awful...

Based on the true crime of Ted Binion, this movie is lame and pitiful. The dialog is terrible. I love true crime and had high hopes for this film but was sorely disappointed. I didn't care about these characters at all. A better script could have saved this debacle. I love desert movies also so I gave it a chance.

Paz de la Huerta is amazing

Paz de la Huerta is my favorite actress. She is so real and brings real emotion to her movies constantly. Learning about what she has gone through in the press has been constantly heart breaking. It is hard to watch her movies now without seeing the abuse she suffered. Death in the Desert is an underrated movie.
