The film was featured on a reality TV show called "The Chair (2014)" where two first time directors (A.M. Lukas and Shane Dawson were filmed making their first film feature.
Not only were A.M. Lukas and Shane Dawson's movies in competition, they were also based off the same script.
Claire Chapelli and Michelle Veintimilla, who were both part of "The Chair (2014)" but in the separate movie adaptations being made at the same time, were both in the movie Père & fille (2015) the following year.
