    An unsual and memorable film...

I was surprised to find no critics reviews, no wikipedia page, and only one user review as I am writing, as this is a very inventive, well written and well acted film.

Especially Tom Zembrod's character as the bootlegger Ogg is particularly good, but all the acting is, even though most are off beat characters, or played in an offbeat way.

The plot revolves around Joey Folsom's character as Cronus Jones who wakes up in a ramshackle laboratory without any memory of how he got there. The story unfolds as he tries to piece together what happened.

If you like quirky stories and characters I think you will enjoy this. It is evidently low budget but it is big on ideas, and makes me want to see more of the directors work.

a bit macabre but very good

Ok, so, first off, there are dead bodies in the movie, and the main characters do morally wrong things. That aside, I found that movie intriguing, a good ymstery, keeps you guessing. Also very very good acting. Even some humor, despite the othewise "dark" atmosphere of the movie. The movie has depth as well. Raises questions about morality, about the self, about the brain. And as I said, it keeps you guessing - from the start.

The music is very fitting as well.

It seems to be a unique movie as well. An interesting topic, many highlights, difficult decisions to be made.

And the ending was very good as well.

So, if you can deal with the macabre stuff, it is an exciting mystery sci fi movie.

Lead actor Joey Folsom filmed the entirety of Cronus in Fort Worth, Texas while simultaneously starring in the play The Year of the Rooster in Dallas, TX for Upstart Productions. Half way through filming, his left foot was broken during a performance. He continued filming without missing a day, including all of the chase scenes. It wasn't until after he was wrapped that director Derek Presley was let in on the secret of his injury.
