Where we are taken in a journey over an old story of Korea, were we can find how tricky's a person sometimes, how tricky is his knowledge, how can be someone a fool in his conviction;so many pains resulting.Luckily in plot we have Solnan, this kind of girl by a beloved naivety, she's royal bone but she will doesn't know along dozen of episodes.Near her is her half-sister Solhia,an devilish, exasperating person who's struggles for status;but on screen she is a terrible actress, she performs extraordinary. I love the character Solnan exactly for her charming naivety and gentle demeanor. She can make you pull the hair for all her credulousness, later all turns in great scenes of retrievals and encounters. She will make you cry at that episode when she'll discover the buried secret of her mother;she will make you laugh, truly,at point that appear in disguise;will delight you with pleasant night scenes at her innocent love meetings with Myungnang. I love many characters of this drama: Doltae for jokes,Muryeong's gently warm, teacher's Dorim gentle wisdom, funnily Queen, sadly Kochon, trustworthy MyungNang and pitied Jinmu, eunuch's Jung amazing kind.... Perfect timed great music at particular scenes.Never bored to see especially Solnan playing her role in specific episodes;her saga provoked me to appreciate the marvelous MBC's studios via internet.
I wasn't a fan of sageuk drama before, but this drama is change my mind!!. Story, plot, scenarios, acting skills, actors, ost, are all excellent. Good job to the director and scriptwriter. Don't worry with the numbers of episodes because it's worth to watch. No skip at all, no boring moment.

It's the usually daily format so temper your expectations accordingly before proceeding any further. Both Seo Hyun Jin and her character contributed a lot to the drama to keep it decent enough. Her interactions were the most memorable. On the other hand, the writer robbed off Seo Woo from making her a decent character, writing wise. Meanwhile, Jo Hyun Jae was as static as always throughout his entire career, the man would rather die than changing his expression. There's no justification for the long runtime other than they were contractually obligated to follow the template dedicated to this time slot. At least give the high moments more time to sink in. Especially the ending, there was no need to make it this short, they had the time to take a more relaxed approach.
