I can see why this is Eric's "best vertical to date"

"The Secret She Couldn't Escape" The title says it all! But is it a secret that she couldn't escape? You will have to watch it to find out! I see why Eric has made this vertical his best vert to date! I agree with him, this did not give off any vertical vibes! This is a short story! Now I do like the plot twist that was not expected at all! Loved how they showed Alex's imagination through the story without making any of the other characters look like "the villain or the B****" at the end. Overall It's well-cast and directed, showcasing a lot of thought in its execution, but it's unique and different. I see why Eric is so proud of this project! It excites me that Eric is exploring more genres in his acting career. The intensity, thrill, and suspense shown in TSSCE, clearly show that he can take on roles effortlessly!

Now for the cons: My only concern was the background music, it could have been toned down a little bit! Other than that it's a solid Vertical.

Eric, thank you for doing this project it's stunning! And I hope to see you explore more genres shortly.

My heart was pounding!

The Secret She Couldn't Escape first draws you in by the beautiful narration of Eric Guilmette's character, author Alex Crow. The story itself is very emotional and will have you sitting at the edge of your seat and your heart pounding! This is a tribute to the incredible acting of the cast, especially the heartfelt roles of the incredible Eric Guilmette as writer Alex Crow and the beautiful Mariana Tostado as Camila Vialante, the couple you are rooting for. John Lane plays the evil Hector Cruz exceedingly well...actually, too well... you will hate him! To be perfectly honest, some scenes were very difficult to watch, maybe there should be a trigger warning, but I guess that's what makes it a thriller! Eric Guilmette - you are a star - actually, 10 stars! Highly recommend!

it was amazing

One of the best verticals i have seen. It will have you gripped and on the edge of your seat throughout it all. If you havent seen it. It is a must watch, eric portrayed alex crow amazingly and i cant wait to see what else he has in store. If its anything like this im super excited. This is more of a short story than a vertical, the lead actress was also amazing. And i would like to see them work together again in the future.

Im not going to spoil any of it, but i will say go and give it a watch if you havent already. Its a must have.

The background music went well with the series but could be a bit quieter.

The secret she couldn't escape

There is so much to say about this project. A lot of love and hard work went into this from the production team to the actors/actresses. From beginning to end, it had me hooked! There was so much suspense and intense scenes with the actors and actresses involved, I loved it. It was so different from the other verticals and is definitely one of the best ones to have been written and filmed! The cast were phenomenal and put in 110% to bring us such amazing quality of work. Could watch so many times and not get bored of it! It's definitely worth a watch, and worth every coin I used to watch it. Amazing work Eric Guilmette and to all involved!

Vertices should be included in the Oscar's!

This entire series leaves you guessing with a racing heart and sweaty palms, not to mention a breaking heart.

The actors talents are outstanding, every single emotion displayed could be felt right to your core.

The film score intensifies the feelings portrayed by the actors giving the viewer the perfect experience.

Eric Guilmette as Alex Crow, as always is a stand out in this, with unmatched acting abilities in the vertical space. This man is going to go far in Hollywood!

Mariana Tostado as Camilla Vialante was phenomenal, perfectly depicting the emotions of a woman who no longer wants to be a victim but is at her limit

Tyler Mauro as Hector Cruz once again putting his crazy bad guy chops on full display for us all and with just a look making you feel uneasy.

As the title says, this series is worthy of an Oscar. Congratulations to the entire cast, to Vigloo for getting to stream it and to Purple Light Pictures. I cannot wait to see what is next from this team!

A series about an instructive story

I really liked the series from start to finish. These series are the closest to me, because they are full of: action, passion, love, but most importantly, they present a story that can be instructive for the whole world. I had a lot of favorite scenes, but my favorite was when Alex and Camila met for the first time because it was like "love at first sight" between them. Eric Guilmette, who plays Alex Crow, is such a special, handsome, professional and talented actor who played his character perfectly. And the actress who plays Camila Vialante is a wonderful and beautiful actress who also has indescribably great talent. I think everyone in the world should see this series.

Mind blowing

The Secret She Couldn't Escape will blow your mind from the moment you start watching .

The melodic voice of Eric Guilmette draws you into the story line and carries you through the story.

This psychological thriller is like no vertical I have seen before. I have watched it 3 times wondering if I will awake from the mind blowing story line with a clearer picture or am a living inside the story line.

Brilliantly directed it pulls you in and doesn't let go.

I wish Verticals were included in the Oscar Awards because this one would be taking home some coveted statues.

A MUST WATCH. CONGRATULATIONS ERIC !

THIS IS ONE OF YOUR BEST FILMS TO DATE!

Thrill Ride!!!!!!

I was on the edge of my seat. This series was a thrill ride of excitement twist and turns I was not expecting. The story ebbed and flowed. The plot was intriguing and suspenseful. It was ride I didn't want to get off. I want it to keep going. The acting was top notch by the whole cast. The direction and production was executed brilliantly. 10 out 1,000 good. The ending I will not spoil. Mariana had me desiring so much for her character. I felt her anguish and her desire. Eric's was phenomenal as Alex Crow, an author trying to find his story or was the story finding him. It was thought provoking and the ending made me want more. Oh all the possibilities the ending could take.

I like the third person voice, it's impressed me, when Eric, like writer explained and talked about his feelings... and poetry abilities of our amazing and cool @erictaylorguilmette showed in this movie... stress, secrets and their internal emotions and feelings between Eric and actress keep us till the end us in suspense. TSSCE

For verticals I would say this is far most the best one I have seen of Eric's. It keeps you on your toes thinking what is going to happen next. Your mind thinks one thing when it actually is the opposite. I have watched most all of Eric's verticals and I agree this is far most the best one. I would definitely recommend people to watch this. Is you want to be sitting on the edge your seat here a good vertical for you. The Secret She couldnt Excape is far by the best of Erics verticals. Eric is a very intelligent actor and I am so excited to see what he has for us in the year to come. Well done !

The vertical shift is a reality! Well done!!

Everything about this vertical is testament to a positive and powerful quality shift in the space.

Every detail, from lighting, cast, locations, storyline, just hits different, yet the elements that make a vertical series as compelling as it should be to be both interesting to vertical viewers and successful to continue to make these are also still there: the hooks, the tension builders, the action, but so much more!

As there's always something to be learned and to improve on I rated it a 9, but love seeing where this is headed!

I don't want to turn this into another "we love Eric" review, because even if you appreciate his work, this is about so much more than the enormous amount of energy he obviously put into this. You'd be short selling this production by making it just about him or the cast.

Phenomenal work by an obviously driven amazing team!

Eric is amazing in his element

Very intense stare and at the edge of your seat. . Love , betrayal and revenge but him being a writer it seems fitting for him in so many ways .Eric Guilmette is amazing to watch between his intense stares . And how he commands the room to attention he was made to be an actor and a writer both are key to his personality and even his sense of humor.. I started watching him last year and i don't see me stopping anytime soon. No matter who he plays he pulls it off with depth and amazing charm he is in no doubt ruling the industry no matter what comes his way . I can't wait to see more of him soon.

If I could...

I'd give it infinity stars if I could. This vertical is one of the best in terms of storyline, acting, and how it is told to the viewer. It is NOT another repeated plot where things like humiliation, physical assault, and banquet shaming tells a story to entertain the viewer. Eric's acting is superb and I love that he is telling a story as you watch the story progress. And the end.... well, the end leaves you emotionally stunned. I will definitely have to rewatch to process my feelings about it. I would LOVE to see more vertical series like this one and less of the degradation, shaming, SA, and other triggering plots. Amazing job!
