Pure dumbness

This is definitely one of the most stupid (Japanese) stands I've ever seen...

I liked the concept of an elaborated revenge, that even goes against some well-thinking moral principles, but... The characters are just completely stupid. The way the drama evolves because of their actions makes the hole thing completely illogic, mixed with indeed some moral lessons I'd rather really wouldn't get... Since I don't want to spoil, I won't say more about it, but if you decided to watch it, you'll see that, especially in the second part of the drama, beheaded chickens would act more rationally than the characters in this drama.

Furthermore, some stuffs are just very improbable like, for a start, the fact that the main character is still alive after what happened to her...

Weak Characters!!

Honestly, I watched till the end out of curiosity. I hoped that it would give me goosebumps.

I agree with the other reviews on here, the drama had potential, the execution was terrible, and the characters were extremely weak and stupid. Why would you go meet the person who killed your father and brutally killed your piano teacher then tried to kill you then frame you in the process to begin with? She also mentions to her father that she accidentally injured a friend at 4yrs, why not explain that from the father's point of view that incident?

How does that F/L survive? They could have made the sister of the piano teacher to avenge everyone, sigh.

I do not want to spoil anything for anyone, but it is really disappointing especially for a Japanese thriller, they usually have the best. It could have been so much better.

They made the villain to seem more smatter and calculative and they gave her so much leverage, and they could have also tried to explain the reason she is like that, the meeting of the ML and the psycho and the mother's death.

The story is all over the place, she should have been captured long ago because she is also careless, even the ending is an open end, I still feel robbed.

Very disappointing!!

Can it be any more stupid?

I'm a big fan of thriller dramas/movies. Watched this one out of curiosity because the preview seems OK. FYI, I watched til the end to make sure I'm unbiased and now I questioned my existence, the best time wasted on this stupidity.

Not going to spoil the plot but oh Lord, I seriously want to meet the production team. Is there anyone with common sense and critical thinking there?

The plot? Intellectually adventurous. The characters? Any sane person will say that they are the PhD in missing the point.

Feels like watching a screenplay by 6 years old. All over the place.

Could make another "Smile" movie

I've been watching K-Dramas for few years, now trying J-Dramas.

This is my 3rd one and - they not that different from Korean TV, accept kind of more bizarre.

This one - could be made into next "Smile" horror film, it's 11 x 20 min episodes, with a bit of trimming could be done in 2 hrs.

Well, the bad girl's creepy smile (and there's lots of it) gave me creeps, it's like seeing a piranha smiling at you.

The series is a good watch, keeps you interested, providing you are OK with some obvious plot holes, like complete absence of police while crimes are happening.

And - oh, there's the final episode, which IMHO is the weakest, but maybe it's the Japanese thing?

Acting and production OK, I think it should be binged, easy enough.

Give it a go. It's something different.
