Sherlock has entered the World of Verticals

Following the death of Dr. Blackwood at her retirement party, we enter into a world that feels similar to Murder on the Orient Express, or a Sherlock Holmes Episode. A Murder Mystery, that takes us on a ride of flashbacks as we get to know everyone in this small town.

Jake Hawkins played by Robert Palmer Watkins, is our Sherlock Holmes character, using his skills of deduction and photographic memory to go through the entire town to deduce just who could have committed this murder.

Olivia Prescott played by Grace Swanson, who is named as Dr. Blackwoods successor just before her untimely death, Jake's ex girlfriend and love of each others lives, we learn more about the history of their relationship and what each has been through to bring them to this eventful evening.

The way this series utilises, flashbacks and narration over the usual cast dialogue to tell the story is unparalleled in the vertical space. This is such a fantastic series with twists and turns, with you not knowing just who the murderer really is until the very end. I love learning about each town member and their potential motives, from Derek not getting the successor position and his battle with alcoholism, to Cas Dellacourt trying to save her son, and even Evelyn Robbins who is rumoured to have murdered her own husband...

On the second, third, and even fourth watch through you pick up on more clues you may have missed on the first go around... and it captivates your attention on each watch through which is not something many verticals have been able to do, well not for me anyway!

This series is a one of a kind in the Vertrasphere! Amazingly produced not to mention the costuming, lighting, use of visual effects (storms etc.), and as mentioned above use of narration rather than direct dialogue.

10/10 - Go Watch this one it is fantastic and you will not be disappointed.
