Chennai, April 22: In forthcoming Telugu anthology film "Chandamama Kathalu", which features eight short stories, allocating time for each story and its characters in the screenplay was a challenge for director Praveen Sattaru but he resolved it by using algebra to distribute equal time to each artist.

"Chandamama Kathalu" releases Friday worldwide.

"To allocate equal screen space for the lead characters, I used algebraic equations to distribute time. The biggest challenge was distributing equal time for all these actors and their respective stories," Praveen told Ians.

Chennai, April 16: Filmmaker Praveen Sattaru, currently awaiting the release of Telugu anthology film "Chandamama Kathalu", left high-paying job in the Us and returned to India to chase his filmmaking dream. He says that the film industry is not a place to get rich because most people face losses in this business.

Anil Sunkara to release 'Chandamama Kathalu'
Chennai, April 9: Popular producer Anil Sunkara, known for Telugu films such as "Dookudu" and "Legend", will release forthcoming Telugu anthology film "Chandamama Kathalu" under his home banner April 25 worldwide.

"He recently saw the film and was really impressed with it. He agreed to distribute it under his home banner. This will help us get a good theatrical release," the film's director Praveen Sattaru told Ians.

Sattaru, who has also produced the film, says the film will be "life-affirming".

"It's an emotional story about experiences that make up life. It was a challenge to fit eight stories and to give all.

Chennai, April 7: Touted as the first Telugu anthology film, Praveen Sataru-directed "Chandamama Kathalu" will hit the screens worldwide April 25.

"The film was originally supposed to come out in March, but since we couldn't get a good number of theatres, we had to postpone the release. The film has been locked for April 25 and it will release," Chanakya Bhooneti, the film's producer, told Ians.

Featuring an ensemble cast of Lakshmi Manchu, Aamani, Naresh, Krishnudu and Chaitanya Krishna, the film has been titled after the children's book of the same name.
