When I stumbled upon this 2025 movie titled "Preying Enemies", I must admit that I initially thought that the movie was another release from the glorious movie company Maverick Entertainment. Luckily that was not the case, and thus my expectations went from none to slim, as I watched the movie.
But the expectation was short lived as I realized that the movie was written, directed and starring the one and the same person, Delinda Kay. And movies that have one person in all those roles usually tend to be dubious affairs at best.
Needless to say that I had never heard about the movie, though.
The storyline in the movie was nothing to write home about. Sure, I've seen worse storylines in other movies, but it wasn't as it Delinda Kay's script was particularly entertaining or enjoyable.
I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. And that was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie. However, the acting performances left much to be desired; they were questionable at best.
The movie looked and felt like a homemade video. How "Preying Enemies" managed to land a 5.2 rating on IMDb, as of this very moment while I am reviewing the movie, is simply beyond my comprehension. The editing was pretty shoddy.
This is not a thriller that I would recommend you to waste 92 minutes on watching. Some of us suffered through this, so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.
My rating of writer and director Delinda Kay's 2025 movie "Preying Enemies" lands on a two out of ten stars.

This movie really left me shook. The storyline was extremely well written. I've watched all of Delinda's films and I must say this is by far one of her best to date. She always seems to leave us hanging wanting a part 2. I thought that I could predict the ending but I couldn't. After I finished the movie I reflected and realized that the puzzle pieces were there and I missed it. This was no doubt a thriller that I truly enjoyed. Good job to everyone who was involved. I can see the growth with each film. The acting was okay. I thought Adrian was ridiculous throughout the entire movie he made me mad. The music was the icing on the cake. You have gained a follower. Good job Delinda Kay.
