Jim Carrey is one of the biggest and most beloved actors of his generation, and back in the 1990s, he had an impressive streak of back-to-back hits that's even better three decades later. Jim Carrey is best known for his style of comedy, which he has used to bring to life some of the most memorable characters in pop culture, such as The Riddler, but he has also shown his range in drama movies, such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Carrey’s acting career began in 1983 with a direct-to-video comedy, but he rose to fame in the 1990s.
The 1990s was a very busy decade for Carrey, starring mostly in comedies but also in a superhero movie (Batman Forever) and the psychological comedy-drama The Truman Show, which earned him the praise of critics. In recent years, Carrey has become part of the world of Sonic the Hedgehog thanks to the characters of Dr.

Name a most recent film or show and Nicholas Galitzine is probably in it. The young British actor has been booking projects left and right and it is just the beginning of what will likely be a long brilliant and successful career. Early life Nicholas Galitzine is a British artist known for his work as an actor and singer. The 29-year-old began his acting career with roles in indie films and then quickly gained recognition for his talent. Galitzine was exposed to different cultures growing up, with his Greek-American mother and his British father. Born and raised in a supportive family environment in London, England, there was nothing that could have stopped Galitzine. He attended Dulwich College in London, where he had to balance academics with his interest in both sports and the arts. Even though his main focus at the beginning was rugby and athletics, he quickly began falling in love with acting,...

Nicholas Galitzine is quickly turning into one of Hollywood’s rising stars with steamy roles in last year’s British rom-com “Red, White, and Royal Blue” (now with a sequel on approach) and this year’s age-gap romance “The Idea of You.” However, in an interview with British GQ recently, Galitzine admitted that having the opportunity to take on quality roles is a relatively new phenomenon for him.
“I’ve had to cut my teeth on a lot of projects, which, I find the result of them, admittedly, maybe not great,” Galitzine said. “But for me, it was always, ‘Ok, this job won’t take me from point A to Z, but it is at least pushing me in the right direction?’”

It's astonishing to think what an enormous hit Tom Shadyac's film "Bruce Almighty" was when it came out back in 2003. Jim Carrey played Bruce, a mid-level TV reporter who is selfish and a little disappointed with his job. When a rival named Evan (Steve Carell) is promoted above him, Bruce wails to God that life is unfair. Astonishingly, God Almighty (Morgan Freeman) appears to Bruce in order to give him a lesson. For one week, and limited to only a small portion of Buffalo, New York, Bruce will be given the infinite power of the Divine, teaching him that being God isn't as easy as all that. Bruce uses his Godly powers for petty, personal things like parting traffic and increasing the bust size of his girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston).
Naturally, Bruce's cavalier use of power -- and his lazy acumen when it comes to answering prayers -- leads to chaos.

In 2021, a new live-action version of the classic fairy tale Cinderella debuted on Amazon Prime, and the Cinderella 2021 cast is full of a mix of musical veterans and newcomers. One of the trends that have gained force in the film industry in recent years is that of live-action versions of animated movies, especially those based on popular fairy tales. Disney has been especially keen on bringing some of its animated classics to the live-action realm, but as these fairy tales aren’t exactly the Mouse House’s property, other studios can do their own versions as well, as Sony and Amazon did with Cinderella.

‘High Strung Free Dance’ Film Review: Toe-Tapping Dance Saga Shimmies Between Sublime and Ridiculous
There are two kinds of people in this crazy, mixed-up world of ours: The people who love the dance movie “High Strung” and the people who are only just now hearing about it for the first time.
It’s a bizarre, bright and unabashedly sincere modern cult classic about a dance student who teams up with a rebellious violinist to rock New York City at the intersection where popping, locking and string instrumentation collide. Find another movie where an impromptu fiddle feud breaks out in the midst of a snooty party, where all the working-class servers suddenly break out into a perfectly choreographed routine that culminates in an awkward flying kick into a platter full of champagne flutes. You’ll be looking for a long, long time, mark my words.
So needless to say, the bar was set very high for the new sequel, “High Strung Free Dance.” The follow-up...

"All I need is a shot!" Gvn Releasing has debuted an official trailer for an indie romantic drama titled High Strung Free Dance, a sequel of sorts to the dance romance movie High Strung from 2016. This time the romance is between a talented pianist and an up-and-coming dancer - in that other movie it was between a violinist and a ballerina. In Free Dance, Zander Raines, a dazzling and tempestuous young choreographer unwittingly ignites a romantic rivalry with his pianist, Charlie, when he embraces a stunning contemporary dancer, Barlow, as his muse for his innovative new Broadway show: Free Dance. The cast includes Thomas Doherty, Harry Jarvis, Juliet Doherty, Jane Seymour, Ace Bhatty, plus Desmond Richardson. This is so cheesy and extravagant and all showbiz, which might be just what excites a few of you. Dance on. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Michael Damian's High Strung Free Dance,...

Melissa McCarthy's The Boss and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are in a tight race for the weekend number one with a mere $45,000 giving the edge to The Boss based on estimates. Also opening this weekend, Stx's Hardcore Henry fell short of expectations while Fox Searchlight's Demolition was all-too-apt a name for the Jake Gyllenhaal starrer as it managed to barely creep over a $1 million opening. Beginning with The Boss, its #1 finish is secondary to the proven star power of Melissa McCarthy as she top-lines yet another $20+ million opener. Excluding the limited release of St. Vincent and her small appearance in This is 40, McCarthy's streak of starring in a film that has grossed over $20 million in its opening weekend has now been extended to six, going back to 2011's Bridesmaids. Not even the overwhelmingly negative reviews or lackluster "C+" CinemaScore could prevent The Boss from posting a $23.48 million weekend,...
