I gave it a chance because I love photography but it kept me snoozing with its slow moving and boring storyline, waiting something interesting finally to happen... I couldn't care much about the main characters. Acting was nothing special, but there was some nice scenery shots. The music was quite depressing.

The narrative is pieced together through a series of dreams and flashbacks, it can be hard to follow until the startling reveal at the end of the film. Audrie is a free spirit searching for something she can't quite find, Dean falls madly in love with her and the two of them set off on a biking road trip across NSW Australia. The film takes us on a journey of regret, love, jealousy, insecurity and ultimately a greater reckoning of loss and longing. Shot entirely on a Nikon DLSR, an ambitious and quite fantastic film.

Amazing cinematography (Anthony Jennings), an inspiring soundtrack (Kram) and a great story of love remembered: An Aussie indie film that is not to be missed as it (eventually) gets around the world (with Universal Pictures). It is one of those experiences that demands discussion, so see it with a good friend - you will both love it! Claire van der Bloom (as Audrey) and Eamon Farren (as Dean) are contrasting but complementary characters... Their relationship is at the heart of the movie - but there are times when the real star is the Australian bush. This is a 'road movie' that embarks on a journey of discovery, of joy, and much more. ... and 10/10 (my score) because it will insist you revisit, see it again, and resolve all those important questions. And that is a great movie!

I initially gave a score of 8. But as I lay awake that night thinking about the story and pondering my heartbreak, it dawned on me that it needed a higher rating. Its a great movie. For sure its not for everyone. Acting is brilliant, I fell in love with the female lead. Well worth a watch and don't be put off by any of the bad reviews, some people just want CGI and apocalyptic story lines
