This Japanese adaptation of Love in the Air stayed true to the original Thai version. That's a positive point, at least in my opinion. In this version, Arashi is Phayu, Rei is Rain, Kai is Sky, and Fuma is Prapai. Each actors successfully embodied their characters. Although there's some minor changes, I think it's still good. I guess they had to omit some parts to make it shorter, seeing how the runtime was only almost half an hour per episode.
The changes I don't like were : 1. They removed P' Joy, the busybody dorm admin.
2. They didn't show us Fuma's siblings.
3. They removed the mafia's involvement when Arashi was saving Rei.
The changes I like : 1. They made Rei more gutsy and aggressive than Rain. He actually helped Arashi attacking the kidnappers and slammed a chair to the boss. Like I said, aggressive.
2. They put Rei's abduction and Kai's incident in the same episode. It intensifies the tension of both events.
3. They made the special episodes (9 & 10) funnier than the original version.
They even added Boss & Fort's cameo appearance in the special episodes. I just wished they'd put Noeul & Peat too. That would've been more complete.
