    Kids watch it and they turned out fine depends on how you teach them

    This show has a very soft spot in my heart people can call me whatever a psychopath crazy idc the thing is I'd never actually hurt anyone nor do I think it's ok to do such brutal things in real life. I discovered happy tree friends when I was little on accident and I've been fine the key is teaching your children what's real and not real and what's ok and not ok. Alot of parents just turn on the tv they never sit and watch the show with you then they complain it's bad for you what's bad is not paying attention to your children and teaching them that it's fiction and not ok in real life. Might be simpler said then done for some parents if that's the case sit in the room with them and watch something else but don't attack happy tree friends because you put it on without reading about it or taking two minutes to watch it with them literally most episodes go wrong in a matter of minutes so it's not that hard to take 5 minutes and view what your children are watching. Yes it's messed up it's also rated tv14 you should look at age ratings especially nowadays. Kids are alot smarter then we give them credit for it might seem like it's gonna be scary to children it definitely wasn't scary for me and I know alot of kids who watched it growing up it didn't desensitize me either I still feel empathy and emotions for real people and I separate fake from real.

    Horrendous childlike adult TV Show!!!

    Innocent as a child as it may look, Happy Tree Friends does not fit into the adult animation show industry as one that would appeal to you as an appropriately made comedy show when it is made to look like it's a child's television series that involves a lot of blood and violence in it!! Sometimes I wonder if a lot of people who know shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy have the slightest idea about this when it comes to cartoonish violence being involved in such shows. Who would want to see such a show that looks just like this one? Certainly not I. I have seen some episodes of this show and now come to regret seeing it.

    Traumatising

    Okay, so I consider myself to be a pretty openminded indevijual, and I always try to respect other people's opinions. But I just don't understand how anyone could find cute fluffy animals being brutally mutilated funny. Maybe it's because I have a habit of becoming overly attached and immersed in fictional worlds, or I always imagine what it might feel like if I were in the situation of the characters on screen. But whatever the reason is, I can safely say that this is not for me. If you do like this show, then I respect that, but hopefully you'll understand why I don't want to be alone with you.

    Also, my heart goes out to any little tablet-mashers who stumbled on this by mistake, or were deliberately shown this by their parents because they didn't bother to take five seconds out of their lives to think about what they're putting in the minds of their spawn.

    THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!

    HTF is one of the best Flash-animated series on YouTube, The creator of the show, MondoMedia (formerly Mondo Mini Shows) worked real hard on this, and it even got a TV series that aired on G4, and MTV! The TV series is great, in my opinion. At first, I like how it looks like a Saturday Morning cartoon, and then, it turns gory. You can disagree with me, but I still think this show is good. I couldn't believe how much this would take to animate. How did they make an animation so smooth?? I'm placing this in 2nd place, with Homestar Runner being the best series. It's very high-on-budget, I believe! Here's a list of a parental guide of mine.

    Violence = 10/10 - This show is too gory, and it's more than gory.

    Sex and Nudity = 0/10 Intense Scenes = 8/10 = This goes along with the violence and gore.

    Profanity = 0/10.
