Wow. Uh... ok. The acting and cinematography were actually really good. It had some serious creep factor stuff going on around our host. I thought his character was extremely well acted by Mr. Gilyard. Porter is a kook from start to finish, and I can see him rightfully causing quite a bit of unease in the rest of the characters...as he very effectively does. But that, dear friends, is where the thrills end. What it all leads up to I found to be...very underwhelming and completely unclear, and ultimately it is never explained to give any of the events leading up to it any real meaning. Maybe that was the point. In which case, it was wholly effective. Unfortunately it just didn't culminate into something that I felt the performances and preceding events were worthy of. It's very seldom that something goes completely over my head or that I can't discern some meaning from, but it's not impossible by any means. Strong performances though and it gave off a really eerie vibe while it was still holding together. It lost me once the guy in the cape and plague doctor mask came in, and they all go upstairs.

I don't know how this movie got a 7.7 star rating. It's boring. Drawn out. And the acting is terrible. It made no sense and the story line slow. I wouldn't watch this twice. I barely stayed awake to watch this the first time. Amazon prime fail.

Slow, disjointed utter nonsense. Literally one of the most boring and pointless movies I've ever seen. I'm not usually one for censorship, but this movie should be burned and removed from existence.

I sometimes wonder if people that write this and direct this stuff really believe they're gonna be something great in the business. As for the actors..... you really really must be starving to be in whatever you wanna call this cause this ain't no movie it ain't no art and it ain't nothing genius. Like I said my 5 year old sis can do a better job and I ain't exaggerating

70 minutes of my life, ill never get back. Kept waiting for something to tie the unrelated scenes together, but it never came. Was it about a mysterious creature or a lunatic and his imagination?

Interesting on the Title Change from Rabbit Days to The Beast. The Beast title is infinitely more intriguing than the Title of Rabbit Days. One is much more likely to say oh The BEAST and just start watching it expecting a good creature feature or something similar. A movie titled Rabbit Days? Well I would click on a description first to find out a bit about that one to see if it's something I would be interested in.
-1 Star for the filmmaker shenanigans on the movie Title
Opening Scene of the movie did it have anything at ALL to do with the rest of the movie?
The movie really could have been called Jet Ski, or I Love Carrots, or How I spent last Wednesday in my motel room, and those titles would have been more relevant than 'The Beast.' Really they should have just stuck with what appears to be the original title, 'Rabbit Days'.
-1 Star for Forcing us to listen to 'My Blue Heaven' much too much towards the end.
Really this movie had no point. And it will annoy you that you spent the time watching it
-1 Star for being a complete waste of time.

I suspect this movie suffers severely from being presented as a scary movie in Amazon's algorithm. I just rolled into it with no preconceived notions. I really enjoyed the ride. Wonderful ensemble.
Give the boys a break! This was a student film written and directed by 2 young brothers barely out of school. For those who don't care for the film maybe you should be watching more Marvel Action Films! This film had excellent directing and superb acting by the cast. Maybe that is why it got good reviews and a 7 star rating from the critics that understand good movie making!
