I was disappointed with Adhunik Bangla Hotel. The storyline lacked depth, and the characters felt more like outdated stereotypes than real people I could connect with. The humor didn't land well and felt forced, making the 'modern' theme seem shallow and underwhelming. The pacing was slow, with many scenes that felt like filler rather than contributing to any meaningful development. I also found the production quality to be lacking, from the editing to the overall visual style, which made the series feel poorly executed. The dialogues were repetitive and predictable, missing the wit and originality that could have made the story engaging. Overall, it was hard to stay interested, and I expected much more.
The cinematography was good, there are some jump scares in the second episode that make you feel like your heart will come out of your mouth. All the actors have acted well. But the story writing was very bad, the climax should have been better with a proper explanation of why and how everything started in the story. I request the creators please choose the script wisely with a little understanding. When I watched the first episode I thought it would be a very unique and good story but the climax disappointed me. Why did this happen and why only the lead actor was made a negative character why did he target the guy if the whole village knows everything but why only the lead character is involved in the climax etc. Questions came to my mind which are not answered in the story.
This series is so good as Bangladeshi movie or series perspective. Visualisation is too good. It's looks simple but if you feel this with your heart then you will imagine. Story is simple but at a point you will be amazed. I loved it.

Watching this, I felt like a small event was unnecessarily stretched to 40 minutes.
If it had been properly structured, it could have easily been a 15-minute episode.
The picturization and cinematography were beautiful, especially the camera work, which was excellent.
The rural backdrop was soothing to the eyes.
The acting was impressive, but the weak storyline was somewhat disappointing.
Some dialogues, like "Taar ar dorkar porbina" & "Sir, ebar kintu apnare ar jati dibo na" etc. These two lines were felt like unnecessary spoilers.
Because of these, I could already predict the plot twists.

Poor storyline, feel boring as a horror story. Adhunik Bangla Hotel disappoints as a horror series, offering a predictable plot and tedious pacing. While the cinematography is decent, the storyline is thin and stretches minor events into long episodes. Dialogues often spoil suspense, revealing twists too early. Despite a capable cast, their performances can't compensate for the lack of depth and tension. Overall, this series fails to engage, making it a forgettable addition to the horror genre.
