Broken Soldier

Ray Liotta's Final Movie Debuts With 93% Audience Score On Rotten Tomatoes
Image
1992, Ray Liotta's last movie, has arrived, and it will end his career with praise. The actor was known for his performances in Field of Dreams, Hannibal, Goodfellas, and more. He died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep at 67 years old in 2022. He was working on the production for Dangerous Waters and never lived to see it finished. He has had several movies released after his death, including an edited version of Cocaine Bear. His final movie tells the stories of two small families living through the 1992 LA riots.

With 1992 finally in theaters, audiences had the opportunity to see Liotta's final performance, and the response has been nothing but praise. With a 94% score on the Rotten Tomatoes Popcornmeter, it has earned a Hot designation, represented by a full and upright bucket of popcorn. The critics were less favorable, though still offered a 67% Tomatometer score. Both scores are positive, but the 27% difference is stark.

Game of Thrones Stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington Reuniting for New Gothic Horror
Image
Kit Harington and Sophie Turner, who played Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, will reunite in the gothic horror film The Dreadful directed by Natasha Kermani. The plot of The Dreadful revolves around Anne (played by Turner) and a mysterious man from her past (played by Harington) who brings significant events into her life. While there are no confirmed spin-off series for Jon Snow, the second season of House of the Dragon is set to premiere later this year.

Almost five years after the final episode of Game of Thrones, Kit Harington and Sophie Turner will work together once again in The Dreadful, a gothic horror film written and directed by Natasha Kermani.

In the successful HBO series that adapts part of George R. R. Martin's acclaimed work, Turner played Sansa Stark, one of the daughters of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. For his part, Harington...

Jamie Bamber, Daniel MacPherson, Warren Brown, Alin Sumarwata, and Varada Sethu in Strike Back (2010)
Banshee Cast: Where Are They Now?
Jamie Bamber, Daniel MacPherson, Warren Brown, Alin Sumarwata, and Varada Sethu in Strike Back (2010)
Before getting out of the business of producing scripted content, Cinemax's lineup of shows was truly phenomenal.

The network brought great shows like Strikeback, Warrior (now on Max), and Banshee to life.

These shows were well-written, with great characters and stories. The action was top-tier, making action buffs weak on the knees with every sequence.

Banshee's narrative, storyline, direction, and enigmatic characters stood out. The show is one of the most underrated shows from the 2010s.

After seeing its lead male actor's phenomenal skills in a currently airing show, I was compelled to check up on the cast and see what they've been up to in the years since the show ended.

Antony Starr -- Lucas Hood

Relatively unknown at the time, New Zealand actor Antony Starr embodied the role of Lucas Hood.

Fresh out of jail after a robbery, becoming a regular citizen was the least of...

This Sophie Turner Scene Is The Best Thing She’s Done Since Game Of Thrones Ended
Image
Sophie Turner's small but memorable role in "Do Revenge" features a standout scene where she hilariously delivers the line "I don't do cocaine" with exaggerated perfection. Turner's acting in "Do Revenge" is arguably her best work since her role in "Game of Thrones." Apart from "Do Revenge," Turner has been actively involved in other projects, including movies like "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" and TV shows like "Survive" and "The Staircase."

Sophie Turner had a small part in Do Revenge, but she made the most of it, and as a result, one of her scenes is arguably the most memorable moment in the Netflix film. Turner is most known for her role as Sansa Stark in the immensely popular HBO series Game of Thrones. The actress was a series regular in all eight seasons of the epic fantasy television show, and her work even garnered her a Primetime Emmy Award...

Ray Liotta set for star on Hollywood Walk of Fame ahead of posthumous release
Image
The late Ray Liotta will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Friday, the same day as his first posthumous movie, Cocaine Bear, comes to theaters.

In a statement by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, who oversees the Walk of Fame, they announced that Ray Liotta will receive the 2,794 star on February 24th. In their release, they recalled, “With more than 60 feature films to his credit, Ray Liotta exceled at diverse and challenging roles in both comedy and drama.” Interestingly, according to the Walk of Fame’s website, “There is a two year waiting period after death” for a posthumous nomination to be considered. However, this seems to have been bent a bit, as Liotta passed away less than one year ago.

Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, stated, “Ray Liotta’s all-around career made him a triple threat and sadly his...
