Something Special: We're All Friends

Great! Until the new format in 2025...

Being the dad of an under 2, I'm fairly new to this, but after my daughter showed great interest, including waving and touching her nose, I downloaded all available episodes to watch over a couple of months with her. Justin really is fantastic, and both the education and comedy in the programme are great! Unfortunately, the new series for 2025, which includes guest presenters and small changes in the format and music, is now almost unwatchable for us. My daughter has completely lost interest unless Justin is presenting, but even on his turns, George is there interfering and adding almost nothing to the show. Maddie is overexcited and over doing it all the time to the point she isn't always clear with her words, due to her incessant gurning and fake smiling. She also signs too quickly which isn't helpful when trying to understand the signs and learn. Ben is also trying too hard, but in his case trying too hard to appear interested. He also gives the impression he may be embarrassed or feel silly acting-up and exaggerating as Justin does so well. I would IMPLORE the BBC to return to the single presenter format, as the new format doesn't work and is nowhere near as entertaining or as captivating as previously. Unfortunately, the BBC does what it wants, and not what it's viewers want. I can't be the only one with this opinion, either!
