The Heartwarming Moment Between Monkey D Garp and Usopp Eichirro Oda Decided Not to Put in One Piece
When you have a range of characters like One Piece, some fans wish for unlikely people to bump into each other and interact. It might not come true in the canonical chapters of the story but it doesn’t mean Eiichiro Oda himself hasn’t thought of these interactions either. The mangaka has drawn up a conversation between two of the most unlikely people in One Piece to speak: Usopp and Monkey D. Garp. The panels were meant to be in the Post-Enies Lobby Arc but were omitted in the manga.

Nobody would expect the Hero of the Marines and the Straw Hat sniper to have anything to talk about. Even the Vice Admiral was quite baffled when Usopp approached him in the forgotten panel. However, their conversation shows a new side of Usopp who is still worried about his father,...

The 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball series is bringing about brand-new collectibles for longtime fans to get their hands on -- or in this case, highly sought-after re-releases, such as a highly detailed figure of Frieza that was supervised by Akira Toriyama himself.
The Tamashii Web retail site is re-releasing its anime-accurate figure of Frieza, arguably the most iconic villain from the Dragon Ball anime series. Originally released on April 24, 2021, the Frieza First Form & Frieza Pod by S.H.Figuarts was supervised by the late Toriyama, who passed away this year in March. A mere glance is enough for anyone to appreciate the strong attention to detail of this figure, as Friezas cocky attitude is present in every facial expression and pose.

Tite Kubo’s magnum opus Bleach is considered one of the most popular anime and manga series that was once a part of the renowned trio known as The Big Three. The series has certainly lived up to its hype, featuring gripping storylines, characters, and iconic fight scenes that would get its viewers to bite their nails as they anticipated the next scene.

The series is filled with a ton of intriguing concepts like the Soul Reapers, Quincies, and a balanced power system, making it a real work of art. As a result, the Thousand-Year Blood War is considered to be a masterpiece that met a lot of praise.
However, the manga artist decided to make a massive change in the manga that the anime series managed to avoid, as it would have brought the plot’s momentum to a standstill.

Goku’s Saiyan lineage is one of the reasons why the protagonist of Dragon Ball is so overwhelmingly strong. The Saiyans are always looking for fights and battles and are training hard to become stronger. All of these are the defining traits of Goku and make them the perfect main character for Akira Toriyama’s magnum opus.
Goku in Dragon Ball | Toei Animation
Goku’s Saiyan roots not only get him excited for battles but have also become a part of his identity. However, Toriyama initially had no interest in focusing on Goku’s origins. He rather wanted to focus on his upcoming journey. Goku’s origins were reflected in the story only because of Vegeta.
Additionally, he never even thought of Goku being an alien, which later became an important narrative of the story. Toriyama also talked about how he didn’t anticipate that the story would go on...

The WGA Awards boosted a pair of movie screenplays into Oscar frontrunner status on Saturday night, handing its marquee Original Screenplay award to Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Won for Neon’s Parasite, and its Adapted Screenplay award to Taika Wiatiti for Searchlight’s Jojo Rabbit. Both of the winning scripts are nominated for Oscars on February 9.
This year the guild wasted no time in its 72nd edition, awarding its marquee prizes early in the night in simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York. Many of the film-side nominees gathered in the Edison Ballroom in NYC, so as to make the shorter jump to the BAFTAs which are Sunday in London.
Last year, the guild did not line up with Oscar’s screenwriting prizes, awarding Bo Burnham’s Eighth Grade in original screenplay and Nicole Holofcener and Jeff Whitty’s Can You Ever Forgive Me? in adapted. Green...
