    A good thriller.

I loved hating the character of Elizabeth Gillies A good thriller.

    Puerile daddy complex over dramatized.

Vapid characters and acting. 2/3 through the movie I reviewed the IMDb user reviews to see why it got a 7.0 rating and only then decided to finish watching it. Characters are shallow and under developed with clichéd performances....interest in movie relies upon plot twists from left field....actually; couldn't wait for it to be over. Might appeal to the under 16 yr old crowd. Waste of bandwidth and a movie to be totally forgotten in cinematic history. :( I enjoy all sorts of low budget thrillers; but this one is a high budget non movie. I can't understand why it has a 7.0 rating here. Usually I rely on the IMDb ratings but in this case we are totally at odds.

Gillies is the saving grace of this movie. 'Nuff said.

Callie (played by Elizabeth Gillies) is pretty much the only character that is fleshed out to some extent and have an actual personality. Every other character feels too much like your typical Lifetime side characters. They're just there to move the story from Point A to Point B or contribute nothing at all.

As a whole, the movie is FAR from perfect, but due to Gillies' exceptional acting and expressions, the movie is quite enjoyable whenever she's on the screen.

    villainy rooting interest

Callie Ross (Elizabeth Gillies) is stealing and getting fired in her aimless life. She steals her petty criminal boyfriend Jake's truck. With nowhere to go, she decides to go home. Her father, who originally cut her off, had a vegetative stroke. Despite her stepmother Emma (Cynthia Stevenson) and half-sister Laura Ross (Tori Anderson)'s open arms, Callie sees an opportunity to seek revenge for her mother who committed suicide.

Trying to tell a story from the villain's side is always difficult and infinitely fascinating. It's different from other Lifetime TV movies in that the female lead is not a victim. In fact, I expected a tale of sexual abuse by the father. I guess it's interesting that it does not go down that path. It would elevate the stakes if the money amount is bigger. The style is strictly Lifetime TV. The switch does leave a confused rooting interest and resign this to a limited idea. Gillies has a damaged bratty beauty persona. She needs to spice it up with some more volatile violence. She needs to single white female this more.

Viewers Will Get A Real KILLING After Watching This Film

This was a great film. I enjoyed watching it. Elizabeth Gillies was a terrific selection for the lead. I thought that the storyline was terrific. There was some room for improvement but it was still good. Some parts of this film are slow. This film reveals to viewers a real close insight and depth of mental and psychological health. There are multiple issues out in the world that not many people are aware of.

For instance, I have had a rare syndrome since I was born. The topic of the rare syndrome that I have and other rare syndromes are not discussed nor heard about much. Health issues need to be heard more around the world. This film reveals a small fraction of that. Viewers would learn and enjoy watching this film.

When the maid checked the revolver to see if it had been used, there was only 5 bullets in it. It would be more likely that there would be 5 complete bullets and one shell with a dent from the hammer. The crazy daughter wasn't shown taking the empty shell out of the gun.
