The Office's Worst Episode, According To IMDb
Image
Here's something that won't surprise anyone. "The Office" was, is, and will continue to be a popular show. It is widely considered one of (if not the) best television shows of the early 21st century. It brought us a smorgasbord of classic episodes, and NBC keeps making them even better (or at least more awkward) through its Superfan Episode re-releases.

While it's easy to remember iconic installments, like "Stress Relief" and "Dinner Party," what are the worst moments? With a show this popular and highly regarded, what do the lows look like? There are many ways to categorize a "worst episode" for a show. One of the tried and true favorites, though, is IMDb. The Internet Movie Database's crowdsourced approach makes it easier to gauge the real crowd reaction — and in the case of "The Office," one episode stands out as the worst-rated of them all: season 8 episode 19, "Get the Girl.

The Office: Ranking All Of Jim's Hilarious Halloween Costumes
Image
Though the characters on The Office usually have a lot of fun getting into the Halloween spirit, Jim Halpert's Halloween costumes have often been memorable simply because of the lack of effort he puts into them. Jim has been known for giving the bare minimum in his job, preferring to chat up Pam at the reception desk or pull pranks on Dwight. He also takes the same half-hearted approach to his annual Halloween costumes, which, while not very fun of him, does make for some memorable moments.

From the Halloween Heists of Brooklyn Nine-Nine to the Treehouses of Horror of The Simpsons, Halloween has become a television staple over the years, cementing itself as one of the culture's most popular and beloved holidays. On The Office, though, Halloween often served as more of a backdrop than anything and no one took the holiday less seriously than salesman Jim Halpert.

Legendary Acquires Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry Network
The production company behind films like The Dark Knight, Pacific Rim, and Godzilla just made a significant addition to its digital portfolio. Legendary has acquired Geek & Sundry, the online video network run by Felicia Day. Since 2012, Geek & Sundry--which originally launched as part of the YouTube Original Channels Initiative--has served as a home for nerd-friendly web series like Wil Wheaton's TableTop, Bryan Singer's Spooked, and, for its final season, Day's The Guild. The network has also created a small community of vloggers who present their thoughts on various geeky subjects. All of these endeavors have allowed Geek & Sundry to build up a significant audience. During the same week that the Geek & Sundry channel passed a million subscribers (a development we'll discuss in greater detail in a few days), Day announced the new deal with Legendary in a video update. Geek & Sundry will become an integral part of Legendary's digital division,...

TV-Length Paranormal Comedy ‘Spooked’ Arrives On Geek & Sundry
Bryan Singer and Felicia Day have officially brought their paranormal comedy to the web. Singer's Bad Hat Harry studio and Day's Geek & Sundry channel have teamed up to debut Spooked, which has arrived on both YouTube and Hulu. Spooked was first announced in March as the latest nerd-friendly web series from Geek & Sundry, which has previously hosted Day's influential gaming web series, The Guild, as well as a nine-episode superhero comedy called Caper. Spooked is crafted from a similar mold; as with those two series, it centers around a ragtag band of protagonists who work together despite their disparate backgrounds and values. It's main difference is its length, as it is the first TV-length scripted series produced by Geek & Sundry. The first episode introduces viewers to the Paranormal Investigative Team (P.I.T.) and its first two clients: A lesbian couple played by Alison Haislip and Dichen Lachman who are...

Ashley Johnson Talks Spooked, How She Got Involved, the Shooting Process, and More
Bad Hat Harry and Geek & Sundry launch their first original paranormal comedy series Spooked, executive produced by Felicia Day (The Guild), on Hulu, Hulu Plus and YouTube on June 4th. Season 1, made up of four weekly 22-minute episodes, follows the Paranormal Investigation Team, also known as P.I.T., as they investigate phenomena at haunted locations across the country, dealing with ghosts, aliens and other unexplainable happenings. The show stars Julian Curtis, Neil Grayston, Ashley Johnson, Derek Mio and Shyloh Oostwald. During this exclusive phone interview with Collider, actress Ashley Johnson talked about how she got involved with this project, shooting this like a film with the full script, playing a wiccan priestess/voodoo spiritualist/occult specialist, finding the team dynamic, playing the love triangle, and why she’s a fan of supernatural comedies. She also talked about what she looks for in a project, working with Joss Whedon (she...

Here’s The Trailer For ‘Spooked’, Bryan Singer’s Geek & Sundry Series
Director Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past is currently the most popular movie in America, but while Singer's mutants may rule the theaters, his ghost hunters are about to take up residence on the web. Geek & Sundry has released the trailer for Spooked, a paranormal comedy co-produced by Singer's Bad Hat Harry production company and Felicia Day. When I first heard about Spooked, my mind jumped to two other paranormal comedies released on the web in the past year: Yahoo's Ghost Ghirls and Hulu's Deadbeat. The new trailer confirms that Spooked will have a similar tone to those two series. Its main "Paranormal Investigative Team (P.I.T.) will be a motley and unprofessional group of misfits that I can only assume will somehow manage to save the day in each of Spooked's four TV-length episodes

Spooked follows a "Paranormal Investigation Team" as it investigates paranormal events across the globe. According to a press release, the first episode will feature a poltergeist who is trying to ruin his daughter's gay marriage, and will feature Dichen Lachman and Alison Haislip as guest stars. Four episodes are planned, with each one coming in a sitcom-length, 22-minute package. As with Geek & Sundry's last scripted web series, Caper, Spooked will be distributed on Hulu as well as YouTube. Spooked is co-produced by Singer, best known for his work on films like X-Men and The Usual Suspects as well as the TV series House. “It’s been a thrill to expand...
