    The deep divide of emotion

I rated the movie a +7 because 'Steven' and 'Alex' acting and writing are brilliant. The love I'm the relationship is real, someone always loves harder. The film could have done best in a mini-series. I felt it was an up-and-down coaster of emotion. The film's ending is unfair. More, please! I was always confused at the couple decision to their marriage. Is there a book someplace I can pick up? The viewers' relationship with the couple/family leaves so much more to be desired... while, I prefer happiness to disappointment or glee, in the end, the family is both, it's a lot to have it in one movie.

    Not your usual story

This film is a first class attempt at a dramatic story involving two men wanting to create a family. One enthusiastic the other very unsure about this idea. And is that situation so very different from the common place male/female story? No - it is not.

Due to social/political/religious indoctrination of "society" our two main characters are forced to take a dangerous path to accomplish their goal. The true message within this film is the oppression of social convention when two people of the same sex have the dedication and means to adopt a child and are rejected.

This film is good - not great - but worthy of anyone's time to gain an insight into a major part of our society and what they can offer but are rejected because they don't fit the social norms prescribed by the culturally religious dictates of society.

    Loved it

It's not an usual movie, it has a unique plot... a gay couple who re trying so hard to have a baby , adopting a child from a desperate young woman, who's return with a dangerous new boyfriend, threatens to destroy everything and abusing her.

I believe it is a worth watching movie, Alex and Steven are both very handsome and they fit perfectly together. The scenes with them are full of affection and love, they re very good actors and made a great job. If you have time give it a chance.

It is a very good attempt to make a beautiful and excellent movie, if it was succeeded is up to you.

Surprising Gay Themed Film from Australia

I watch many gay themed movies, and to be honest I was never too impressed with what Australia has to offer in that field (compare to say, Brazil, France or French-Canada). But this film is different.

The subject matter is - surprisingly - a post-gay marriage dilemma, which involves adopting and raising kids as a gay couple.

In some countries - such as Spain, Canada, USA & Israel in particular - gay adoption or surrogacy is not a new topic. However, in Australia it is, I feel, it is still a 'hot potato' issue, especially after watching this important film.

I have to note that the actors in this film are very well casted. It's unusual to see two very attractive, mascular, straight acting guys playing a gay couple. They were very well placed and it helped the movie a great deal to bring this topic forward. (note - I admit I did not expect such intensive and convincing intimate scenes - it was very refreshing and honest, certainly from an Australian film).

I would highly recommend viewing this film as it is relevant and very well executed.

    Some hot screens.

Good looking actors, but didn't find the acting believable. I think the writer needed to do more research before writing the lines and screens. The reactions, lines and behavior weren't sensible or realistic. Liked the basic story line.
