One of Sir Ian McKellen's most iconic moments in The Lord of the Rings has been transformed into a new Funko figure. This latest iteration of this iconic wizard is based on his appearance in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring when he faced the Balrog in the Mines of Moria. This figure is now available for pre-order and will be released next year.
This latest Gandalf Funko Pop has him wearing a blue robe, with a sword and staff in hand. His face is covered with dirt, and it's somewhat similar to that iconic scene. Now available for pre-order in third-party outlets, this latest...

Actor David Tennant, who has famously played demon Crowley in Good Omens, revealed that he did not know that his son Ty Tennant, who has followed in his father's footsteps acting-wise, had landed the part of Ennon in Season 2.
The Good Omens star went in for an interview with Variety ahead of the premiere of Season 2 (which is today) and spoke at length about the way he had found out about Ty's unexpected casting. Apparently, Tennant had no idea that his son was even going to audition, let alone that he got the role. The actor admitted that he had done "a bunch of self-tapes with Ty," but not the one that ended up earning him the part in the hit Amazon Prime Video show because he "was out of town filming" Season 2 at the time.

Fifth Doctor actor Peter Davison reveals that plans for a sequel to his 10-year-old Doctor Who skit, The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, were deemed "utterly unacceptable." The skit was written and directed by Davison, starring himself, Sixth Doctor actor Colin Baker, and Seventh Doctor actor Sylvester McCoy alongside a number of famous faces to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary. The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot saw fictionalized versions of the three actors working together to sneak their way into the filming of the 50th anniversary special, "The Day of the Doctor."
As Doctor Who celebrates its 60th anniversary in late 2023, Davison opens up to RadioTimes about the skit he developed to celebrate the sci-fi series' previous milestone and reveals he had ideas for a sequel. While Davison was enthusiastic about the sequel he had written, certain elements were deemed unacceptable by others who saw it due to potentially outdated jokes. Check out Davison...

Doctor Who‘s big 50th anniversary special, “The Day of the Doctor,” thrilled fans around the world and is widely considered one of the sci-fi institution’s finest hours. And one of its own finest moments was Tom Baker’s cameo towards the end of the movie-sized event. The iconic former star of the show turned up to play the Curator, a mysterious individual hinted to be one of the Doctor’s future incarnations (wearing one of his old faces).
Someone who’s not a fan of this cameo though is Colin Baker (no relation), the Sixth Doctor to Tom’s Fourth. While speaking to Den of Geek at Edinburgh’s Capital Sci-Fi Con earlier this year, the actor – who starred as the Time Lord from 1984-86 – didn’t hold back about his feelings on the other Baker’s Curator cameo, which he described as “naff.”

Paul McGann, best known among fans of genre TV from Doctor Who as the eighth incarnation of the Time Lord, celebrates his 60th birthday today.
McGann initially had only a single outing as the Doctor in a TV movie aired in 1996, seven years after the series went on indefinite hiatus due to its steadily declining ratings and long before work began on the 2005 revamp, which will soon return for a second season with Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor.
Sometimes referred to as Enemy Within, the film was made as a pilot episode for a new series of Doctor Who produced with an American audience in mind, but fared poorly due to its radical alteration of the show’s core ideals and mishandling of established lore. However, McGann’s performance as the Doctor was still celebrated, and despite the movie’s failure he’s remained an integral aspect of the mythology.
