The Subtle Art of Losing Yourself

9/10

Beautiful ! for the eyes and for the mind !

This film is a feast for both the eyes and the mind-a truly beautiful experience. It invites viewers to reflect on profound, fundamental questions about life and how we function as a society. Yet, it does so with such lightness and joy that even the most complex issues feel approachable.

Moving from snowy, majestic peaks to the vibrant urban streets of Bristol, it invites us to take a moment to investigate ourselves, to recognize how we function, and to reconsider our place on this planet. What if the answers to life's biggest questions were, in fact, simple?

Inspired by Daoist philosophies, this is not just a movie; it's an exploration, one that will linger in your mind and heart long after the credits roll.

Get some battle scars of your own first..

The subtle art of losing yourself..well done you lost me in the first five minutes!

Continued to watch with the sound turned off, so I didn't have to listen to a kid pontificating about how to live a life ..he hasn't lived yet!

All based on the Taoist philosophy of a guy he met in China, which begs the question..if his life was so great why didn't he stay there?

Used this instead as a tourist video for the spectacular scenery of northern Scotland, without the soundtrack of eastern mysticism, which has no bearing on Scotland or its history.

If he wanted to get into wildlife & natural history documentary film making minus the "grasshopper" commentary he could be of some use..!
