One of the best thriller mystery movies made in marathi cinema. The dark comedy lands its punches and makes it an entertaining watch. The starcast has put in effort and it shows. An amazing performance from all. Jui bhagwat character is loveable and relatable. Ameya Wagh's performance especially stands out.
The story is existing and a special mention to the background music.
The songs are earworms and refuse to stop playing in a loop in your head.
It is a break form the same "run of the mill" movies in the market. An existing new genre that can be enjoyed by the whole family irrespective of age, gender etc.
I will definitely recommend watching this movie.....A must watch !!

I happened to watch the movie at the Singapore premiere and I was glad that I did not miss it.
The movie starts with a peppy number which allows you to get into the groove however, few minutes into it, the plot starts to unfold and you know that you are in for a juicy whodunit tale which keeps you gripped until the last minute when the suspense is revealed.
Without giving any spoilers, the movie's plot revolves around the ongoing challenge that we see with teenagers/youth who, in their desire to become famous on social media, can get entangled into an undesired situation (murder in this case) and face extreme consequences.
Abhishek Merukar's work shines as a debut film maker. He is able to keep a good balance of humor and drama while keeping with the central theme of suspense throughout the movie. I read in his interview that he is aware that the Marathi movie audience is intelligent and wanted to serve them with an entertaining story that respects this fact. I would dare to say that this is a very noble thought not just for Marathi movie audiences but also for Indian cinema as a whole. I wish more filmmakers will think this way and only then we will have movies that can compete and stand at the same level with world cinema.
The casting of the movie is spot on. Amey Wagh is completely in the character of an Insurance agent who while keeping his clients interests, also looks at his own interests. Amruta Khanavilkar brings a mature take in her character of a social / NGO activist and also brings the star value the movie deserves. Jui Bhagwat has got a perfect debut as a lead actor and handles the various situations and expressions that her character requires very well. The supporting cast Rajasi Bhave, Srikant Yadav, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Vitthal Kale, and Shubhankar Tawde lend their performance ably to keep the plot suspense on point.
All in all, this is a movie that every Marathi movie audience should watch and support so that more and more filmmakers can bring the stories that we deserve. Being a suspense drama, it goes without saying that it should be enjoyed on the big screen.
Cheers to an intelligent audience!

**Movie Review**
I went into this thriller with fairly low expectations, but I came out genuinely surprised and impressed. This film is proof that a clean, gripping movie can deliver edge-of-your-seat entertainment without resorting to excessive violence or unnecessary elements.
From start to finish, it was a fast-paced ride, packed with twists and turns that kept me hooked throughout. Not a single moment felt dragged or boring. The narrative flowed seamlessly, building suspense in a way that was smart yet easy to follow. What truly stood out was how the movie struck a perfect balance between thrill and accessibility, making it suitable for a family watch.
The performances were strong, the direction sharp, and the cinematography added to the tension without being overwhelming. It's rare to find a thriller that feels fresh and engaging while still being clean and universally enjoyable, but this one nailed it.
If you're looking for a high-energy, suspenseful movie that you can enjoy with the entire family without worrying about over-the-top violence, this is a must-watch.

In an era dominated by social media, where likes and subscriptions often define success and validation, "Like Aani Subscribe" emerges as an incredibly thought-provoking film that captures the complexities of contemporary relationships. Directed by Abhishek, the film presents a narrative that resonates deeply with today's audience, making it a must-watch.
At its core, "Like Aani Subscribe" offers a compelling story that addresses the societal pressures of social media and the impact it has on our personal connections. The film skillfully weaves together themes of love, friendship, and the quest for validation in a world where the number of followers often outweighs the quality of real-life interactions. As the plot unfolds, viewers are introduced to characters who navigate the fine line between online personas and their true selves, highlighting the discrepancies that often exist between the two.
Abhishek's direction is nothing short of commendable. He manages to bring a fresh perspective to a subject that has become all too familiar. The cinematography is visually stunning, effectively capturing the vibrant yet isolating world of social media. Every frame is thoughtfully composed, adding depth to the narrative and enhancing the viewer's experience. The use of color and light symbolizes the characters' emotional states, creating a rich tapestry that draws the audience into their lives.
One of the standout aspects of the film is its ability to maintain mystery and suspense throughout. The narrative is cleverly structured, with unexpected twists and turns that keep the audience guessing until the very end. This element of surprise not only elevates the viewing experience but also serves as a metaphor for the unpredictability of life in the digital age. Just when you think you have it all figured out, the film throws a curveball that challenges your assumptions, a testament to Abhishek's skillful storytelling.
The performances in "Like Aani Subscribe" deserve special mention. The cast delivers strong, authentic portrayals that bring the characters to life. Their struggles, aspirations, and vulnerabilities resonate deeply, allowing viewers to connect with them on a personal level. The chemistry between the lead actors is palpable, adding an extra layer of authenticity to their relationship dynamics. Each character is well-developed, and their journeys are crafted with care, making the audience genuinely invested in their outcomes.
Another notable aspect of the film is its ability to balance humor with serious undertones. While it tackles weighty themes, there are moments of levity that provide a welcome respite from the tension. These lighthearted scenes not only serve to entertain but also highlight the absurdities of life in the age of social media, reminding us not to take ourselves too seriously.
"Like Aani Subscribe" also shines a light on the phenomenon of online fame and its consequences. It challenges the notion that popularity equates to happiness, urging viewers to reflect on their own relationships and the importance of genuine connections. The film serves as a reminder that while the digital world offers a platform for self-expression, it can also lead to feelings of loneliness and inadequacy if we lose sight of what truly matters.
In conclusion, "Like Aani Subscribe" is a remarkable film that captivates audiences with its thoughtful narrative, engaging direction, and relatable themes. It stands out as a refreshing change from the usual offerings in cinema, tackling relevant issues with a deft touch. As viewers are taken on a journey through the highs and lows of modern relationships, they are left with a lasting message about the importance of authenticity in a world that often prioritizes appearances. This film is not just a cinematic experience; it's a reflection of our times, making it essential viewing for anyone navigating the complexities of the digital age.
