What a Good Romantic Journey of Both characters
At the time of watch I just felt like bein In the story and feel every scene in my own
Attached to my heart That sweetness of Characters and that never ending uneasyness in relationship That makes partner to think twice and that basic but romantic things of your loved ones that is too especial for one
Every scene is killing
This sets the new High in Romantic- drama that drama shouldn't be too high but that should be in touch to reality
Light scenes Deep meanings Lovely Background Music attaching brains Expressions make everyone love Granny And all are in good mixture
GROUNDING IS NEW HIGH quote by Kartik Charan is perfectly sets here.

Ishq In The Air - brings a familiar romantic formula but does so with fresh vibrancy, making it a binge-worthy watch. Set against the contrasting backdrops of Indore and Mumbai, the series follows Kavya (Medha Rana), a spirited hairstylist, and Naman Kothari (Shantanu Maheshwari), a shy and aspiring photographer caught in his family's namkeen business. Their chance meeting during a flight delay sparks a romance that gradually unfolds over five episodes.
The series stands out in its depiction of the stark differences between the protagonists' worlds. Naman's calm, small-town life contrasts sharply with Kavya's fast-paced, urban lifestyle, and this difference adds a layer of charm to their budding relationship. The way these two environments shape the characters and the inevitable clash of values they represent is captured beautifully, giving depth to an otherwise simple love story.
Medha Rana and Shantanu Maheshwari's performances are a highlight, especially with their chemistry making every moment believable. Shantanu's portrayal of the gentle, soft-spoken Naman complements Medha's spirited Kavya, and watching their interactions feels effortless and heartwarming. Their connection feels organic, and the evolution of their relationship adds a layer of emotional depth to the series.
While the romance is central, Ishq In The Air also explores personal growth, showing how love can inspire change and push individuals to face their insecurities. The characters evolve as they grapple with the differences in their lives, and the series gently nudges the idea that love, despite its challenges, can bridge even the widest divides.
However, the show doesn't stray too far from familiar territory. Directed by Tanmai Rastogi, known for Ishq Express, the premise of two strangers meeting at an airport feels like a small tweak on his earlier work, where the meeting happened on a train. This familiarity might make the story predictable, but it's saved by the charming performances and the emotional journey of the characters.
In a nutshell, Ishq In The Air may not offer groundbreaking storytelling, but its relatable themes, endearing characters, and the contrast between two worlds make it a heartfelt and entertaining watch. It's a sweet tale of unexpected encounters that turn into lifetime memories.

It's shantanu who's gonna make audience invested with his performance from the start to the end. Great choice from the director who showcased the first scene in the plane and finale scene ended in a plane. Which felt like a great metaphor of "life is a full circle", Loved the writing felt quit subtle & didn't make things complicated and unnecessary plot building. Focusing on world building the cultural differences where picturized beautifully & kudos for production unit for such quality in the sketch. The modern day take on relationships were portrayed with conviction. FINALLY "ISHQ IN THE AIR" WAS REALLY FELT.......
I just binge-watched the entire series, and honestly, I'm still in awe. From the very first episode to the last, I was hooked. It's rare to come across a show that grabs your attention so completely, making you forget everything else going on around you. The storyline, the emotions, the drama - it all came together in such a perfect way. I was truly living in every scene with the characters. And when it comes to the performances, what can I even say that does justice? Medha and Shantanu, you both were simply extraordinary.
Medha's portrayal of her character was nothing short of mesmerizing. There's a certain grace and rawness she brings to the screen that makes you feel deeply connected to her. She's fierce, vulnerable, and incredibly relatable. Her character arc is one of the most compelling I've seen in recent times, and Medha carries it with such brilliance that I found myself rooting for her every step of the way. Every scene she was in felt real - as if she wasn't acting but living those moments. She had me on an emotional rollercoaster, and I loved every second of it.
And then there's Shantanu. Wow. What a powerful performance! His character's intensity was palpable, and he played it with such conviction that it was hard not to be captivated by him. Whether he was delivering a heartfelt dialogue or facing an emotional dilemma, Shantanu brought so much depth and nuance to his role. His chemistry with Medha was off the charts, and together they made magic happen on screen. The way he embodied his character made it easy to get lost in his journey - to feel every emotion, every struggle, every triumph. I couldn't take my eyes off him!
The writing of the series deserves a lot of praise too. The story was beautifully crafted, with layers of complexity that kept me guessing. Every twist, every turn had me on the edge of my seat, and yet the show never felt forced. The pacing was perfect, allowing the narrative to breathe when it needed to while still keeping the tension alive. And the dialogue? It was sharp, witty, and emotionally charged. You could tell a lot of thought went into crafting lines that felt authentic to the characters, and it really showed.
There's something special about a series where you can not only enjoy the plot but also form a connection with the characters. I felt deeply invested in their lives, their choices, and their fates. As the series unfolded, I found myself constantly thinking, "What's going to happen next? How will they handle this?" And that's what good storytelling does - it pulls you in and keeps you there, making you care about every little detail.
As much as I enjoyed the first season, now I'm left eagerly anticipating what's to come. The way things ended left so many intriguing possibilities for where the story could go next. I'm already counting down the days until Season 2, and I can only hope it will be just as spectacular - if not better - than the first. Medha and Shantanu, I know you'll both continue to shine, and I can't wait to see what new dimensions you'll bring to your characters in the future.
To Amazon and MX Player, please don't keep us waiting too long! This show has clearly struck a chord with so many people, and we're all desperate for more. It's rare to find a series that balances such strong performances, compelling storytelling, and deep emotional resonance all at once. You've got a winner on your hands, and I truly hope we won't have to wait forever for the next season.
In the meantime, I'll probably rewatch the first season just to relive all those incredible moments again. It's one of those shows that leaves an imprint on you - that stays with you long after the credits roll. The characters, the emotions, the energy - everything about it was so memorable. Medha and Shantanu, you've made a fan for life, and I know I'm not the only one! Here's hoping Season 2 arrives soon, because I'm ready to dive back into this world as soon as possible!.

It brings back the old natural romance that every man & woman needs to experience in their lives. Naman being a small-town boy meets a modern girl Kavya and sparks ignite. This show brings back the most important thing that today's generation miss in a relationship is the simplicity. Show at every point proves to be a true fairy tale of romance for every boy. Being set between Indore and Bombay adds an ethnic flavour in the shows plot displaying the simplicity of Indore and modernisation of Mumbai. Moving on from the past is essential in finding true love was the most important thing this show succeed in portraying so beautifully. I think all those who believe in finding their true love one day, must binge this show because it could not have been created more beautifully than it already is. And finally, we might never know where we can find our love, it might be a highway (watch the series for this reference), or a airport, we just have to keep looking.
