Dokukoi: Doku mo Sugireba Koi to Naru

This crime-romance-thriller BL series tells a story about a top-notch lawyer named Ryoma, an ice cold tsundere who has a problem with working in a team. His former partners called him the ice king for being so difficult to work with. His boss gave up trying to find him the right partner and let him find one himself. Enter Haruto, a cheerful and seductive con artist, looking to change his way of life. He fell hard for Ryo at the first sight, literally.

Some people deemed this couple has no chemistry at all, while I agree with the others. I think they've successfully created a decent chemistry with each other. With the run time of 20 minutes per episode (give or take), spanning 12 episodes, this series is perfectly crafted without stretching the plot for too long. This series is the example of mature BL series without any heavy sexual scenes. So for those who's shy about watching spicy scenes, don't fret. There's none here.

I am not one for the rom/com at all, but this looked interesting and had to give it a go. I was hooked after the 1st episode. This show make me happy and laugh. Again, I'm the last one who would want to watch a rom/com but this is the best. The story lines and the actors are perfect. The length of the episodes is also a plus. I really hope that it is picked up for more seasons. We have to see how the succulents and Ryo continued on. "Love is not an energy drink!" I can't thank the creator of this show Keisuke Makino enough for making we want to believe in a rom/com show again! Please please more and more episodes!
