Sahipsizler is a heartfelt series about family, love, and resilience. The six siblings add depth to the story, showing the power of unity and loyalty as they face life challenges together.
At the center is Azize's love story with Devran, a bond filled with passion, struggle and growth. Their chemistry is electric, and their journey- marked by misunderstandings, sacrifices, and unwavering love. It feels real and inspiring. I can't wait for them to confess their love for each other, the slowburn love makes me fell in love with them!
I'm rooting for every one of characters. This show also has many funny characters that keeps us viewers smiling and few moments later it twists and makes one on the edge of their seat.
I really recommend everyone to watch this series. It's a MASTERPIECE!

It's a story about a family who lived in the "little house on the prairie" in the midst of a forest detached from civilization, at least that was how it was presented for about 15 minutes on episode 1. The parent were killed, the kids escaped to Istanbul city.
No footwears, no money, no food, they roam around the city hungry and penniless. The only valuable possession they have is a treasured gold bracelet that was swindled from them because - I understand - they don't know the art of barter or the idea of selling because they're ignorant.
The story of this series has been a story of hundreds of films and series, very predictable, ignites pity, stimulates tears and compassion from viewers.
The problem is in the presentation - everyone in the cast is loud, everyone's shouting, everyone's acting all at once, everyone's trying to outdo each other in acting, everyone's over-acting, everyone's annoying. The only thing that's good is the presentation of Istanbul's actual regular people's neighborhood, I don't know if it's the Fener Balat neighborhood or Tarlabasi or the side streets of Galata?
The story is very predictable. Watch it only if you have plenty of time, otherwise skip.

I don't understand why the kids preferred to stay for 2 episodes - perhaps 2 nights - in a dingy, smelly, rat-infested basement when a sleep in the park is a lot more comfortable. For 2 episodes, their acting involves weeping and crying, distressed and destitute but they refused help - the eldest sister got irked by an alms given by a passersby on the street on their arrival in the big city, they don't need money but they need food. The eldest male got angry at the guy who gave them shelter in the basement of their house because he doesn't want his sister to open the door and speak with the guy who is helping them. Too many contradictions, I don't get it.
Story is very beaten, script is used in so many telenovelas. Acting is very bad, very chaotic scenes, screaming, meant to induce pity and sadness from viewers.
2 episodes and I quit watching.

The 6 children are watching each other, literally, like watching each others' every move and reacting exaggeratingly. The eldest sister watches over her siblings, the eldest guy with anger management issue always mad at all times, overprotecting his siblings to the point of not allowing any male interacting with them. One marginally attractive sister jealous with the other pretty sister, and the 2 smaller children adding to the chaos. Story is the fight and survival of the siblings after losing their parents from the villains, they escape from their quiet home in the jungle to the chaotic Istanbul.
All actors in this series are too noisy, most of them are either screaming or crying. The family up the house are twice as noisy. They're supposed to be funny, I think, but I'm not laughing, annoyed perhaps.
The real action and excitement starts at episode 5 onward but of course you have to watch the previous episodes to get a grasp of the story, play it on 1.25 speed and skips here and there.
As usual (same with most turkish TV) there are annoying characters to infuriate the viewers, and also the usual elder character as a villain. The momentum is picking slowly and I'm still watching it while the excitement is building up. Cinematography is good, location spots, the winding streets in Istanbul is lovely.
I almost gave this series a 1 - 2 stars based on episode 1 - 3, give it a go until past episode 5 and you'll probably start to like it.
Word of advice when watching online and there's a playback rates option, play at 1.25, that's the normal speed, Turkish TV series tend to slow down playback to reach the 2-hour length. I usually watch at 1.25 for all Turkish TV, but for this one, most of the time it's 1.5 and still you won't miss anything.
