Excellent comedy timing, engaging storyline, and superb linkage scenes from part 1 made this movie a delightful experience. The narration was outstanding, with a good amount of twists and lots of fun. We entered the theater in a bad mood and left feeling elated. Every character nailed their performance, with Yesudas (Satya) delivering exceptional comedic timing. In a nutshell, this film offers great entertainment for the weekend. The script was tight, and the pacing was perfect, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The humor was both clever and relatable, making it a joy for all ages. The director did a fantastic job balancing comedy and drama, creating an emotional rollercoaster that left us laughing and teary-eyed at times. The chemistry between the cast members was palpable, adding depth to their interactions and making the story more believable. The cinematography and soundtrack were also top-notch, enhancing the overall experience. This movie is a must-watch, guaranteed to lift your spirits and provide a hearty dose of laughter.
Mathu Vadalara 2 (2024) :
Brief Review -
A fantastic successor to one of the greatest crime comedy ever made. An absolute riot! First you have to watch Mathu Vadalara (2019), not because to understand this one, but to understand the kind of high standard that film has set for the crime comedies. I still remember the headline of my review of the first film when I wrote, "The best and most number of conflicts for any thriller in world cinema." When I say World Cinema, I say it after watching over 7000 films. Now you can guess how great it must have been. Mathu Vadalara 2 is a great successor to that cult film. It may not be that high as a classic, but definitely a deserving sequel, and frankly, I don't think sequels come this close in today's times, especially the classic movies. MV2 is absolute fun, with many viral trends featuring as the main tool behind classy one-liners and slapstick jokes. From Modi ji, Animal, Chiranjeevi, club songs, destroying daily soaps, to caricatures of every single thing you know about cinema and stars, you'll be laughing out loudly with happy tears. I don't want to spoil those jokes here and reduce the impact, and the same goes for the storyline. Honestly, I couldn't even do that with the storyline because there are so many conflicts. They wouldn't fit here. You better watch them in the film, and I am sure you'll agree with me. As a whole, it's flawless entertainment, but there are a few jokes and scenes that look forced. When you watch this film for the second time, you'll definitely find a few flaws in the screenplay or the linear equation of the storytelling. Why would a police officer listen to everything his boss says when he knows it's not right? That's the biggest flaw. I don't want to tease you with such questions without telling the story or without you knowing the story. I am deducting one star from the final ratings for those 3-4 flaws that don't have waterproof branding. Rest, it's a blockbuster entertainer! Don't miss the end credits.

Perfect! Every inch of the movie made us laugh. Hilarious movie. Expecting part 3 DEFINITELY! I've never laughed so much in years by watching a movie and not only it's entertaining but also the movie has endless twists which keeps us entertained till the end! The same craze as part 1. Every character fulfilled it's purpose. It's a complete chill movie. MUST WATCH DEFINITELY! I never recommended any movies but this one is a deff watch one. Even my friends watched and gave really good reviews that's the reason I watched and now I am going to spread the movie to others. Arey bhai every second of the movie was worth it. Didn't even get up, as I did not get bored. Love it!
If you're looking for a comedy that will make you laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh, MV2 is your ticket.
My IMDb rating: 7.5/10
MV2 is a buddy action comedy on the lines of Dumb and Dumber (1994), Bad Boys (1995) and other such films in the genre.
With the teaser and trailer setting the bar high, MV2 lives up to the expectations.
The loosey-goosey rhythm between the two lead actors (Sri Simha Garu & Satya Garu) and their rat-a-tat banter is wacky and fantastic. There's an indescribable push-pull chemistry between the two and they drive each other more than a little crazy.
As the short-fused Yesudas, Satya Garu's charisma, comic timing and command of the big screen is immediate. Just when the 2nd half was dipping, he manages to conjure a little magic.
Sri Simha Garu excels in his character too and holds his own. The man can certainly challenge himself with complex characters in the future.
Sunil Garu and Vennela Kishore Garu add to the film's humor quotient.
The one-liners are loud and evokes crackles every minute.
The insane shoot-outs and chase sequence works brilliantly.
Rohini Garu and Faria Abdullah Ji do their parts well.
But the movie's real secret weapon is Ajay Garu. He looks menacing as the villain yet warm and adapts well to the situations.
Kaalabhairava Garu's score is a big plus to the film.
A good paisa vasool entertainer, MV2 is a treasure trove of meme material for trollers!

The story is paper-thin, but the narration keeps things fun and suspenseful. The screenplay delivers some good laughs and a few dull moments.
Sathya's comedy steals the show in the first half, especially before the interval-some scenes are laugh-out-loud funny, while others miss the mark. Rohini's TV serial track is kind of flat this time around; not as hilarious as in the first part.
The second half brings in more crime and thrills, but only a few hit the right notes, with some feeling silly, and the climax is downright ridiculous.
Sri Simha, Fariah, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, and the rest of the cast give it their all.
The cinematography and sets look good, while the music is just average. The direction holds up well.
You can watch it for the comedy, but overall, it's a bit of a below-average ride.
