Editor’s Note: The following story contains some spoilers for “Poker Face” Season 2, Episode 6.
Season 2, Episode 6 is not your typical episode of “Poker Face.” Charlie (Natasha Lyonne) has been working as lunch lady at a local elementary school, where she meets the terrifying Stephanie (Eva Jade Halford), a student whose ambition compels her to humiliate one of her peers and indirectly kill the class pet.
It’s a demanding role even on paper, and one brought to life superbly by the 12-year-old Halford (the episode premiered on her birthday), who goes toe to toe with Lyonne, Margo Martindale, and Adrienne C. Moore throughout the episode. It’s enough to shake a seasoned pro — but Halford is already on her way to being just that, having just wrapped “The Last Day” with Alicia Vikander, Victoria Pedretti, and Wagner Moura, from first-time feature director Rachel Rose. As a child, she’s used...

While Leterrier is well known for action features like Fast X and Transporter movies, it’ll be interesting for his fans to delve into his take on a horror story.
The new image sees Lee and Moura on the set, the production design hints that it's Christmas time, while we see the actors lost in a discussion about their scene. While the image doesn’t reveal much, it's an indicator of how this normal household will soon go through terrors unknown. Speaking of the two leads, Leterrier said, “Greta Lee and Wagner Moura have delivered rich, dynamic, and captivating performances throughout their brilliant careers. Their charisma and talent shine through the screen.” Also starring are Gabriel Barbosa,...

While The Vampire Diaries enthralled fans with its first season, Season 2 was when the show really started showing its true potential. Season 1 had to do a lot of table setting, with new characters and a new world to introduce to the world. However, Season 2 allowed the show to really spread its wings and give viewers the best supernatural stories and romances with Elena, Stefan, Damon, and the others.
This time, there were all new villains, more emotions, and plot twists unlike any other. Season 2 of The Vampire Diaries was full of the best moments from the entire show, and it was arguably one of the best outings of the teen fantasy drama. These moments had high stakes, both emotionally and in the plot, which made them so unforgettable.

Colman Domingo is a political pundit whose life becomes a paranoid mess in The Madness. Having originally found success on the stage, including his Tony Award-nominated turn in The Scottsboro Boys and having supporting roles in everything from Chadwick Boseman's 42 to Ava DuVernay's Selma, Domingo found his breakout role on screen as Fear the Walking Dead's Victor Strand. The years since have seen him garner further acclaim, including his Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated turn in Rustin and Emmy-winning performance in HBO's Euphoria, among others.
Domingo stars in The Madness as Muncie Daniels, a former social rights activist now working as a media pundit for CNN. In the midst of his star profile growing, and a pending divorce from his wife, Muncie goes for a weekend getaway to a cabin in the woods, only to discover his neighbor's dismembered body, and narrowly escapes from the two in the...

Celebrities and fans have a unique connection. Despite knowing the fact that our favorites don’t even know about our existence, they become an important part of our lives. However, sometimes this obsession takes on a very sinister turn. This brings us to something that happened in 1996 with Björk that still shakes us to our core.
Björk | Credits: @bjork / Instagram
Don’t get us wrong, obsessing over a celebrity is okay and can be pretty fun. However, trouble starts when this obsession leads to people feeling entitled over the person. Something similar happened to Icelandic musician Björk when a fan tried to kill her after jealousy got the better of him.
Björk and Her Obsessed Fan
Björk is unlike any musician to have walked on this planet. She is a force of nature and her music is something you don’t come across very often. Thus, it makes sense...

Alicia Vikander opened up about her family life at the Zurich Film Festival, where she received the Golden Eye Award.
“Sometimes, [preparing for a role] is boring and tedious. My three-year-old is wondering what’s going on, because I’m locking the doors and talking to myself,” she laughed.
“When I am done, I get very tired. Acting is physically and emotionally draining. I have two young children now, I was pregnant when making that film and that’s where most of my time goes when I am not working,” said the Swedish actor, fresh off dystopian sci-fi “The Assessment.”
Vikander’s growing multilingual family – the actor is married to Michael Fassbender – aroused festival audience’s curiosity.
“My six-month-old doesn’t speak much, but my three-year-old speaks Portuguese, English and Swedish. Recently, he was hanging out with some kids and now there’s also a bit of Spanish. He’s giving me language courses now!

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine Halloween episodes proved to be highlights of the show, but some are still better than others. When the sitcom aired its very first Halloween-themed episode in season 1, they unknowingly started a fantastic trend and tradition that would be repeated every season due to the extremely positive response it received from the dedicated fanbase. The Halloween Heists had a humble start in season 1, but the episode format became more popular than anyone initially imagined it would, and the show became obligated to stick to the tradition.
What helped make the Halloween Heists so fun was how Brooklyn Nine-Nine always found a way to keep things fresh and unique. Jake vs. Holt was fine on its own but seeing Amy, Rosa, and even Gina (who isn't even a detective) get involved only added to the fun and upped the ante. With unexpected twists and turns in each episode,...

Veteran producer Christine Vachon spoke publicly this morning about what she described as the “tragedy” behind Todd Haynes’ now-shelved gay romance flick starring Joaquin Phoenix at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
Vachon — a regular at the Spanish festival — discussed the abandoned project as part of her keynote at the festival’s industry-focused Creative Investors’ Conference.
To start, Vachon shut down the suggestion that there was an elaborate backstory behind the production being halted.
“Pretty much what happened is what’s out there for you to read. I don’t know any more than that. I would gossip if I had anything to gossip about,” Vachon said before adding that “it was tragic” to see the production fall.
“Todd Haynes is 62,” Vachon said. “He’s not old but there’s a finite number of films that he will be able to do in his lifetime. I consider him one of the...
