This season is arguably one of the 'WORST' in premier league history, now it isn't as bad as the Lockdown days but simply is still one of the least exciting ones for the past years and over-a-long-period of time. The nature of the Premier league is fun and exciting, but the reality is, the season isn't as good at the moment.
Parachute payments is one of them, it isn't such a bad thing in reality on reflection but it does play a part in one's success. Ipswitch, Leicester and Southampton are all going to go back down, and atleast two of them will automatically come back-up and the other one will be fighting for the play-offs. And it's happened twice in a season know as the gap is becoming bigger and the teams that came up can't seem to deal with the next steps or survival. I believe all the teams are going to get about 63 Points combined, which is the lowest rate it's ever been.
Despite all the bad, some have strengthened and have adapted, like Fulham and Wolverhampton wanderers. They have been able to stay up playing Pragmatic football ⚽, and then getting the right Manager in to then adapt and get a Premiership level team in.
Budgeting isn't much of an issue because they do still get to spend alot with Ipswitch at the highest rate paying £152Million on players. But it is a Problem when they go down because they will automatically go up again within 2 Years because of the Budget Budget they have.
But Fair play and Sustainability rules were enforced and I think it may improve on the matter but I am not sure yet. I'd give it a 4/10.
