The director Mark "Tye" Turner died days after submitting the movie to 36 film festivals through film freeway. The movie was his dream and he worked on it till his death at age 62.
Dirty Dogs won Best Doc and Best of Fest at the Abita Film Festival , winners at the Taste Awards 2025 and official selection Cinema on the Bayou film fest in Lafayette LA.
