This is the rating I must give to a movie that I couldn't finish, but maybe there are people who like this sort of film. I am not a fan. All three of this trilogy (I just watched the third one and will review it soon) are similar in that thy seem to appeal to a specific demographic of movie watcher that I'm not part of.
I like the actors, they are all great. I don't enjoy the theme as far as the ideology and lifestyle aspects are concerned.
It's a shame they wasted three great leading men on this. Like I said, I couldn't finish the movie. Once I was watching the bridesmaid speaking to the pub lady again and spewing useless anecdotes about things we know nothing about and don't seem relevant...

This is a great movie. Friendship, relationship, scenery, wardrobe, the right balance of rom-com. You will enjoy especially Jonathan Bennett. In this movie, Jonathan makes the character, Danny a likeable, life and love confused everyday guy. Some movies he is just too goofy but this one just right. No need for Hynes or Britt to "make" the movie. The narration part a bit confusing but looks like the way to link the stories. Must say kudos to wardrobe. Clothing choices great but the suits and tuxedos outstanding. The fit especially for Jonathan is perfect. Sometimes I think wardrobe is busy making the female lead look good they overlook how great looking a perfectly fitting suit can be and this movie gives the chance. Watch Secon Chances, Enjoy it.

Hynes, Bennett and Britt are back in this second movie of The Groomsmen trilogy with the same charm and chemistry as with the first one. Hynes never disappoints with his dry sense of humor. In this movie the gay man(Bennett)is the lead not the sidekick. Danny finds that he has fallen in love with his best friend and business manager Zack. After Zack becomes engaged he wants Danny to be his best man and wedding planner. Since Zack's fiancée isn't taking much of an interest in the wedding, Danny and Zack spend a lot of time together planning it. Both discover the deep connection and bond they have with each other. Danny's two best friends remain at his side as he experiences a complex mix of emotions. This movie has its bumps here and there but all in all its romantic(Hallmark style)delightful and fun. I am looking forward to watching the 3rd. I wouldn't trust the bad reviews...
