This is the first BL Wu Xia series that I've ever watched. If I had to compare its fighting scenes to other Wu Xia series, then I'd say that this series is lacking in that department. The fighting choreography was not good, especially with the main actor. You can see that he's not really good with martial arts just by looking at his movements. As for the visuals, it's really good. The plot is also very straight forward, it's not hard to follow. The acting was decent, from most actors anyway. Personally, I think that Leslie Li's acting was too stiff. I mean, there's a difference between a tsundere character and a wooden statue. Just because he had to play an icy cold person, doesn't mean he had to be expressionless while getting stabbed in the shoulder. Maybe he needs to take more acting classes.
