Documentary looking at the various reasons that the British Film Industry failed. It explores all sorts of reasons - politics, the management of regional film offices by people who don't understand film, conflicts of interest, American pressure and so on. It's an interesting watch and has quite a few important film makers on patrol, but it doesn't manage to interview anyone it accuses, so ultimately not as strong as it could be and messy in the conclusions it draws.
Well done docimentary, though obviously from the UK point of view. The best thing about it was seeing the posters for so many films I've hever seen, but have added to my watchlists.
