Just a heist movie

A regular heist film inspired by a real heist story. While acting was good, I found the pacing quite bad. The deep focus on the main character was not needed. A lot of events and character action in the movie look really strange as they lack reasoning whatsoever, but I'll skip them due to spoilers. Let's say I would question how professional the robbers were. While using long one shot takes is beneficial for some scenes, it made the heist scene very confusing. A bunch of masked men shouting and running back and forth. Other than that it was interesting to watch how the criminal mind works in action.

Decent enough

It's nothing more than a good action heist, but nothing less. Combined with decent acting and various personages (including ethnicity), it represents the average Joe of the criminal underworld in Denmark. It has a good soundtrack too.

The movie is a bit slow, maybe some scenes weren't necessary, just as it wasn't necessary to concentrate on the main characters' unsuccessful career and doing it for the female security guard was also unnecessary, but it wasn't too bad. It is just something that if you cut out of the movie, it won't become worse. The actions and the conversations were chaotic at moments, but I'd say the flaws are acceptable, because overall the movie is fine. I would give it 6.5 stars, but it's not possible.

After NOKAS and HELICOPTER HEIST, here is THE QUIET ONES

I don't know if you remember, but in 2012, Norway produced NOKAS, the true story of the biggest bank heist in the history of Norway; last year, there was HELICOPTER HEIST, showing the biggest heist in the history of Sweden. And now, it is question of the biggest heist pulled in Denmark. So, Scandinavian countries had their biggest heist put on screen, for the biggest pleasure of heist films fans as I am, this from my childhood. By the way this very heist here also inspired EASY MONEY III LIFE DELUXE, which I will review next week. It is question ,as in HELICOPTER HEIST of a security complex facility, as it was for LE CONVOYEUR, WRATH OF MAN, MONEY MOVERS, BRAQUO series season 4, FACE. It shows professional robbers, certainly not jerks in the Ritchie's style, though it was him who gave us precisely the terrific WRATH OF A MAN, which looked more like a Walter Hill's film than a Ritchie's one. It is tough, gritty, with French actor Reda Kateb in a tough armed robber, focused on his task. A character as I love. For my favorite kind of action crime drama. Heist crime drama. It is quite close to NOKAS interms of way of filming, then millions times better than the OCEAN'S ELEVEN like craps. This film belongs to the ones showing us the "heist geometry", it is shown and explained without any words how to pull a perfect heist, when you are a professional, all the details related to safety.... I LOVE this. As in and also HELICOPTER HEIST.
