Aliens Turned Soviet Soldiers into Stone: Tom Cruise and Joe Rogan Would be Thrilled to Learn About Declassified CIA File About Aliens
Image
The question of whether we are alone in the universe has eternally intrigued humanity despite years of scientific advancement. As a result, it isn’t a surprise that celebrities like Tom Cruise and Joe Rogan have also pondered over it, expressing their views that we aren’t alone.

While there has been debate regarding alien presence on Earth in the past, a set of declassified CIA files has once again fueled the fire of curiosity online. According to a new report, the declassified files suggest alien activity in the Soviet Union during the Cold War era.

The newly declassified files also seem to reveal that the aliens turned soldiers into stone, with many taking it as a confirmation of aliens being present among us. The news will certainly thrill Cruise and Rogan, who have vocally supported the idea,...

Hot Ones Is Going Live on Netflix With Sean Evans
Image
Netflix is expanding its library of live television with the YouTube talk show Hot Ones, hosted by Sean Evans. The long-running series features Evans interviewing the world's biggest celebrities, often Hollywood actors, as they eat chicken wings with increasingly hot sauces. Recent guest highlights include Jennifer Lawrence and Pedro Pascal. Hilarious moments are often turned into popular memes, forever etched into the pop culture lexicon, but the Hot Ones is also known for its shockingly nuanced interview questions and subsequent answers. Netflix wants to record a live version of the hit online series, according to a new report.

Variety reports that Netflix is in talks with Buzzfeed to produce live show episodes of Hot Ones, with Sean Evans returning to host. The new format will be exclusively produced for Netflix, unavailable elsewhere. In addition to YouTube, most episodes of the interview series are available on Hulu and Peacock. Netflix is...

Joe Rogan Mocks Prince Harry For Accusing Him Of Spreading False News About The Vaccine
Prince Harry
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle find themselves under fire again, and this time due to disparaging views they shared a few years ago at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

At the time, the couple had made it clear that they reported Joe Rogan over his controversial claims about the Covid-19 vaccine.

Well, they had their fun then. Joe Rogan’s decided to react to it and let’s just say he had some pretty ridiculing things to say about Harry.

Joe Rogan Remembers Time Prince Harry Tried To “Cancel” Him During Latest Netflix Comedy

Comedian Joe Rogan recently clapped back at the Sussexes for “talking sh**” about him in the past in new show, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats.

The stand-up comedy special was first streamed live on August 4 from the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. It marked the first time in six long years that the 57-year-old...

The debut of “Umbrella Academy’s” fourth and final season was just barely outpaced by “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” which was Netflix’s most-watched English TV show of the week.

The two Netflix series were neck and neck with 8.4 million views during the week of Aug. 5, which saw the Aug. 8 premiere of “The Umbrella Academy” Season 4 and marked “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’s” second week on the streamer after its Aug. 1 release. Viewership for “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” grew slightly from its debut week, when it also scored the title of that week’s most-watched English TV show with 7.4 million views.

Viewership for “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” and “The Umbrella Academy” Season 4 more than doubled that of the No. 3 title on the list,...

‘Umbrella Academy’ Season 4 Debuts In Second Place On Netflix TV Charts
Image
Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder both managed audience boosts last week to reclaim their spots atop the Netflix streaming charts.

The Spongebob spinoff movie managed 13.4M views, making it the most-watched title of the week, while A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder churned out 8.4M views — up a million from the week prior and good enough for No. 1 in TV.

The film in second place was Ferdinand with 7.3M views.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 debuted in second place among TV, also with 8.4M views. The series returned for its final season on August 8 and, seeing as it is already rivaling the first place title, it’s likely that The Umbrella Academy will take the lead in the coming weeks.

Third place went to Simone Biles Rising with 3.7M views. After another week on the platform, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats more...

Netflix Launches Weekly Live Series Hosted by Celebrity Medium Tyler Henry
Tyler Henry
Netflix is continuing its push into live programming with a new weekly series, “Live From the Other Side” hosted by medium Tyler Henry, premiering Sept. 17.

The eight live shows, which will stream every Tuesday at 3 p.m. Pt on the platform for 45 minutes apiece, follow Henry as he gives celebrity guests hope, healing and long sought-after answers through emotional readings that showcase his gifts as a medium, clairvoyant and medical intuitive.

“Not even I could’ve predicted that I’d be doing a Live show on Netflix! I am super humbled and grateful for the opportunity. I know the skepticism that comes with mediums — and this project will let me lean into that in an honest and unedited way, demonstrating high-stakes readings in real time,” Henry said in a Tuesday statement. “My goal is for this live format to open some minds and change some lives. This project is my biggest,...

Hate Joe Rogan? Hate Netflix? Stop Taking the Rage Bait
Image
The funniest thing to come out of Joe Rogan’s new Netflix special is the social media mocking it, but don’t kid yourself: CEO Ted Sarandos benefits from that, too.

Rogan, a 56-year-old podcaster, has been called a lot of things since “Burn the Boats” streamed live on August 3. According to his critics on X, he’s “unfunny,” “a bigot,” “the dumbest man on the planet,” “like if Charlie Brown grew up, did steroids, finished balding, and never went to therapy,” “a lapdog for billionaires,” “adult Caillou,” “proof that those D.A.R.E. videos about the dangers of weed might have made some valid points,” and “the Cybertruck of comedians.”

The progressive pile-on is objectively funny and, at first glance, looks like a welcome counterbalance to the millions of Rogan fans who make “The Joe Rogan Experience” the world’s biggest podcast. In the special, Rogan aggressively mocks the LGBTQ community,...

‘Under Paris’ Eyes No. 1 On Netflix Most Popular List For Non-English Films; ‘Saving Bikini Bottom’ & ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ Top Weekly Charts
Image
It appears to have been a bit of a slow week on Netflix, with the most-watched title racking up just 12.8 million views. That was Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, ranking atop the English films list.

On the TV side of things, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder made its debut with 7.4M views, which was good enough to send the YA mystery series to No. 1 on the English TV chart.

Cobra Kai Season 6A seems to be losing steam, cutting its viewership by more than half this week, with just 4.1M views. Still, that put it in second place. Meanwhile, Simone Biles Rising had a good week, rising to No. 3 with 3.8M views, which is up just slightly from the week prior, likely aided by her stellar performance at the Paris Olympics.

Elsewhere in TV, Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam took fourth with 3.5M views, while Season 6 of Too Hot To Handle moved down to No. 6 with 2.7M views.

Netflix’s latest standup special, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats, managed No. 7 with 2.5M views after its Saturday night debut. That’s a strong showing for the comedy special, which will likely rake in a larger audience this upcoming week, since only about 24 hours of viewership were accounted for during this measurement window.

Back to film, Find Me Falling dropped to No. 5 this week, down from the top spot the week prior, drawing just 5.6M views. Thats about a third of the audience it had in the previous interval. Kids animation appeared to be the strongest winner this week with three spots in the English film Top 10 — Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie at #2 (7M views), Trolls Band Together at #4 (5.9M views), and The Bad Guys at #8 (4.2M views).

Under Paris is still going strong on the non-English film list, claiming seventh place with 1.7M views. It has already made its way onto Netflix’s most popular list with more than 95M views since it debuted, but it has about a month left in its 91-day premiere window, meaning it could very well surpass Troll to be the streamer’s most-watched non-English language film of all time.

Also, the eighth and final season of teen crime drama Elite moved into the top spot on the Non-English TV List, clocking 3.9M views.

‘Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats’ Review: Netflix Special Relies on Same Old Covid and Gay Jokes
Image
“I believe in freedom and I believe in love. But I also believe in crazy people.”

Comedian Joe Rogan has worn many hats in his lengthy career. A leading pioneer in the podcast space with the interview show, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan has long been known for his multi-layered work as an actor, reality game show host and UFC color commentator. However, Rogan cut his teeth in standup comedy, which he returned to in full force with the Netflix special “Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats,” which aired live on the streamer this evening.

Six years after his previous standup special, “Joe Rogan: Strange Times,” this newest iteration of the controversial comedian’s work was unwilling to hold back any punches. “Burn the Boats” began with a series of live, pre-show entertainment music counting the event down, including songs by Blues Saraceno and a random assortment of guitar-heavy acts. When the show started,...

Joe Rogan Live on Netflix Discusses Aliens and Being High at the Airport
Image
“What the fuck is happening, San Antonio!” declares Joe Rogan at the start of his first live Netflix special, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats. The long-time podcaster returned to his original craft, stand-up comedy, at the Majestic Theatre in his home state of Texas on August 3, where he performed live for fans and all of Netflix to see. And then things got weird — like, supernatural weird. “I am very invested in aliens being real,” he says.

“I think the dumbest argument that aliens aren’t real is when they go, ‘If aliens are real why don’t they just land on the White House lawn?’” Rogan then asked the audience: “When you go fishing, do you check in with the president of the lake? No, you just trick those idiots with fake food and then you pull ‘em out by their lips and take pictures of ‘em, and drop ‘em...
