Dream on

No pun intended - this is quite the mind ... well you know what .. messer? It messes with your head for sure, but maybe it is needed ... especially with all those dreams coming into play. And yes even doctors can have issues ... especially if they have stuff from their childhood to process ... and there is a lot here.

Actually one could argue there is too much to work through ... hence maybe a sort of cameo by Andy Lau .. who I could imagine in a spin off ... or maybe even in a sequel (prequel?). It would work ... cinematography is really good and the story is tight too ... which works hand in hand with the really interesting characters and their backstory ... you still have to be patient (and a patient? Is that a pun?) ... slow moving pace and all that. If you can do that ... you're in for a treat.
