Broken up too much and a bit unrealistic, but it's a good story.

So there I was watching what I thought was a user-created short story, and got drawn in. The plot was a bit messy but I liked the main actress (Brittney Rae. Carrera.) She's soft-spoken but has endearing qualities. (Not sure what her dialect is from or if it's "made up" for the show, but I liked it. Almost a lisp-y lightly whispery voice....)

I found out it was part of a "ReelShort" video, available through the app - I only saw the first few "chapters" of the story. So installed the app and watched the rest.

There are times that the acting is "overdone" as you'd see in a soap opera - and that's what this reminded me most of is daytime soaps. The story is unique, the acting overdramatic, but it draws you in.

It's about 1:40 long total, including a little overlap between the 83 "chapters" and flashbacks. The story appears to take place over about 3-4 weeks' time, and has some unrealistic qualities (such as Victoria seeing the same guy for several years, not marrying him, and he suddenly leaves her to drown in a pool to save her sister (who CAN swim) who was his mistress.... like I said - soap opera. And that's the first two minutes - not a spoiler.)

But overall, even with the poor (and excruciatingly large number of) cuts, and the "overdramatic acting", it's still a decent story.

I'd tell them to remake it, make it a little more believable, and turn it into a movie... but for what it is, I give it a 75-80%.

Good story

Good story for a short. The lead male a actor was great. The female lead was not. And her kisses? Weird. She was very dull, monotone and appeared to not know how to kiss. I felt bad for the actor having to act with her. He had to know her side was not well done. Everyone else was decent n story was better than usual. I did enjoy the ending. I wish all the slapping would stop in these movies. At least it was males being slapped or females slapping females in this one. Worth a watch for the lead man n story. These stories are a quick guilty pleasure and for the most part it delivered on that. Just wish the female lead was as good as the male lead.

Poorly acted but strangely compelling

A reel of this appeared on my FB news feed some time ago and then, for some reason, i began looking for more. Snippets appeared out of order but it didn't seem to matter. The storyline is formulaic and quite silly, the acting is pretty wooden, there's nothing particularly interesting about the production values, and the dialogue may have been written by a high schooler. And the ending was utterly predictable.

The two leads -- Teddy and Victoria -- were quite good looking but the supporting characters were particularly awful.

Despite all that, I looked forward to each episode. Maybe it's that old cliche -- it was so bad it was good.
