WWE Royal Rumble

Very slow start to the women's Royal rumble with no one being eliminated until the eighth entry . In theory you want a ring filled with people in reality the best rumbles this happens maybe two or three times in the match not for too long period otherwise you just have competitors all my sitting around the ring the contrast between two competitors standing head-to-head and then the numbers building and falling is what makes a rumble good as the 30th entry Nikki Bella runs down to the ring. There is nine competitors in the ring with only one standing.

It was very little energy in the arena until a legendary arrival at number 27, that was the beginning of proper Royal rumble energy in the room up to this point? It was just pops for people's entrances.

A well choreograph last five minutes it's just a shame the same level of storytelling didn't go into the whole rumble .

The men's event felt like it had a lot more storytelling going on during the match and a much stronger final 10 meant it was hard to tell who would be the eventual winner a much stronger match saving the night.
