Disney’s Into The Woods, previously at a projected $1M for the weekend, nearly doubled that to take a confirmed $1.7M. In Italy, Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper was above its estimated record-breaking haul with $7.1M on 425 screens and the best per-screen average in the market.
