This studio has a lot of amazing writer and yet they give us the most common themes in a soap operas that we've seen for these past few years. The theme is overused but despite relying on conventional storytelling, the series' breakneck speed and surprising plot reveals make it compelling.
Stellar performance from Jodi Sta. Maria (Lavender/Jasmin). She never disappoints and we all know that.
Janine Gutierrez's (Iris) captivating 'mata-mata' acting style is too iconic which showcased in her recent series "Dirty Linen" and the movie "Ang Babae at Ang Baril" and that makes her an excellent fit for the antagonist role."

"LAVENDER FIELDS" is a documented drama approach like from past ABS-CBN teleseryes that it starred by a woman. It stars Jodi Sta. Maria in her titular character.
Iris (Janine Gutierrez) is a Moira-like antagonist and in fact, televiewers know how she acts like a villain over Moira Tanyag (of Abot Kamay na Pangarap fame), it shows Iris in the sound of anger and inferno.
Like in the end, good girls only win in dramas, there are some episodes that evil girls won over good, and good girls win over evil, it designs the balance, progression and turning point.
Lavender Fields is a modern uptake to compare teledramas like "Kadenang Ginto", "Ika-6 na Utos", and other teledramas to name a few.

When I saw the trailer for this, I was immediately reminded of Wildflower. Practically all pinoy tv series have stories that I've already seen and this series was just the same as any revenge series there is. Really, there is nothing new but I am watching it because I miss Jericho and I like Jodi. I also like Janine. So, how I can pass the chance to watch all these three together then there's also Jolina and Maricel Soriano. This series is packed with the best actors then and now. But if there is something that's ruining it, it's the gay character in Iris' circle of friends who is also their colleague. He acts really awkward and super weird for his role. The role doesn't suit him at all. He reminds me of that bad actress from The Impossible Heir whom I couldnt bear to watch anymore because of such bad acting. I dont know why they'd put someone who can't act at all. It ruins the show. Couldve given this a rating of 8 at least for its entertainment value if only that gay guy isn't in it. I mean, no hate. Just giving feedback because the show has such great actors so it's easy to spot someone who cant act. The kids are even better actors than that guy.
