Follows on from "Doctor Who: Dark Legends", which follows the same variation of the character and ran from 2018 to 2019. Originally "Reign of the Golden Age" was supposed to be a direct Series 3, but this was changed to allow for a series reboot which could make it easier to understand for newcomers.
