Classroom of the Elite Season 3: Plot, Cast, Release Date, and Everything Else We Know
Image
Classroom of the Elite is a one-of-a-kind anime that provides a realistic approach to the high school survival genre, which many shows have tackled previously but haven't been successful enough. For instance, while anime shows like Danganronpa, School-Live!, and Highschool of the Dead take place in a high school, they lack the unique element that the Classroom of the Elite possesses.

Having said that, even though Classroom of the Elite was adapted with the intention of selling its light novels, it was well-received by fans, becoming one of the best survival anime shows. While everyone assumed there wouldn't be a sequel after a phenomenal first season, it returned in 2022, announcing yet another season to keep fans entertained. With that in mind, here's everything we know about Classroom of the Elite season 3.

The Gastrea virus spreads like wildfire, causing each infected host to rapidly mutate, gaining new powers and abilities with every stage of development, even while they continue to attack, kill and infect multiple new hosts. Unable to fight a pandemic enemy that turns defenders into adversaries, the shocked remnants of the human race are forced to retreat into cities surrounded by giant monoliths made of Varanium, one of the few materials that can stop the Gastrea.

Paired with a partner, they alone have the strength to take on a Gastrea in one-on-one combat. But the very thing that gives them power is a ticking time bomb, so even as they protect humanity, they are also feared and shunned. Are they Girls? Monsters? Or Mankind’s Ultimate Salvation?...

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Review
From Marvel vs. Capcom to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, fighting games have been home to plenty of crossovers throughout the years. Combining some of the most iconic video game characters with our favorite superheroes, these titles have allowed players to live out scenarios that were once only possible in dreams. The latest fighting game crossover to hit PlayStation 3 and Vita is a bit of a strange one though, as it combines popular light novel protagonists and a few iconic Sega characters.

Developed by Ecole Software, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax features all of your favorites from the Japanese magazine Dengeki Bunko. Not familiar with the name? Most gamers won’t be, which makes Sega’s localization of the title a bit strange, but there are some recognizable properties within the game. These include the hit anime Sword Art Online, The Irregular at Magic High School and Black Bullet. If none of the series ring a bell,...

New Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Trailer Shows Off Extreme Combos
Sega has released a new trailer for their upcoming 2D fighting game, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax. The PlayStation 3 and Vita title, which combines notable characters from the Dengeki Bunko imprint with Sega stages and characters, is set to release early next month, and this new trailer shows off several of the light novel characters, such as Kirino Kousaka from Oreimo.

Other familiar faces include Akira Yuki from Virtua Fighter, Rentarō Satomi from Black Bullet, and Sword Art Online‘s Kirito. You can see some of these characters, and others, in the trailer embedded above. Overall, there are 14 playable fighters and over 20 assist characters that can be used in battle.

Anime fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax, since it’s set to release October 6. Also, if players pick up a launch edition of the game, for either PlayStation 3 or Vita,...
