Hallmark Channel knows how to look after its customers by adding all this year’s Countdown to Christmas 2024 movies to Hallmark+. This means subscribers to the newly updated streaming channel can watch new movies on the day after they premiere.

Everyone’s getting into the holiday movie game now, bringing Hallmark competition for must-watch programming over the fall and winter months. But is Hallmark still the reigning champion, or have Lifetime or Netflix come out on top for 2024? On Sunday, Soaps reported that Curious Caterer leads Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach have separately shared that Hallmark has delayed filming the next two planned mysteries in this series. When Andrew was promoting his Countdown To Christmas movie Jingle Bell Run, he shared that the sixth and seventh movies in the series were originally going to start production early in the year. However, the network has delayed this.

We were supposed to shoot a couple of them in the new year, January and February, but they’ve been pushed to mid-year.

Hallmark are gifting fans an early Christmas movie. They are releasing all of their 2024 Countdown To Christmas and Miracles Of Christmas movies to the rebranded Hallmark+ streaming channel. This is a reversal of the network’s original decision to wait 6-9 months before releasing new movies.

However, that is not the only change. In addition, they made a major change when they stream 2025 linear movies on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery. Here are all the details.

On Thursday, Variety reported that Hallmark+, the network’s streaming channel is making “some major changes.” Originally, Hallmark+ was going to stream different content from the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery. Now, the network is making all of the holiday movies available on the streamer.

Big changes are coming to Hallmark+ in 2025. After just a few months since launching, the platform is making some adjustments to its strategy. Initially, Hallmark+ was planned to show separate content from the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery Channel, but that’s all about to change.

Starting in 2025, all new Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery original movies will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the day after they air on TV, as Variety reports.

To prepare for this shift, Hallmark added a dozen new holiday movies on December 17, and another 24 are scheduled for December 20. This gives Hallmark+ members access to over 40 holiday movies, including all the 2024 holiday content from Hallmark’s linear networks.

Right now, Hallmark has a deal with Peacock, which means movies from the ‘Countdown to Christmas’ event are available for streaming three days after airing. That’s why a movie like Trading Up Christmas (which airs December...

Hallmark+ is making some major changes, three months after its launch. The streaming platform was originally set to stream separate content from the Hallmark Channel/Hallmark Mystery debuts, but that will change heading into the new year.

Effective in 2025, all new Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery original movie premieres will be streaming the next day on Hallmark+. A dozen were added on Dec. 17, with 24 more being added on Dec. 20.

Hallmark+ members will have access to over 40 Hallmark original holiday movies, including all 2024 holiday content from the linear networks. Hallmark currently has a deal with Peacock, in which original “Countdown to Christmas” movies are available to stream for three days after they air.
