The Rocky IV star was reportedly diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2015, and while he was symptom-free for a few years, he was given only two to three years to live by a doctor on a subsequent visit.
Cut to 2024 and Lundgren announced that he was a surgery away from being completely cancer-free. He thanked the support of his fans and well-wishers for helping him recover through the ordeal. He was reportedly filming for The Expend4bles and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom while undergoing treatment.
